I've been dosing my septic system with this monthly since I got it pumped three years ago. I think I picked the brand at random. So I don't have anything to compare it to. I am thinking, however, that it has been doing its job, because this is what I know. (a) this jug has lasted three years, and (b) when I got the tank cleaned again just now, there was no sewage odor detectable during the process, just the smell of dirt. The tech said everything was in order. So I think I'll continue using this product.

As a first-time septic tank owner I wanted to be sure my septic didn’t backup or clog. This product is fine, but after purchasing it I was informed that it’s not necessary for septic tanks. A healthy septic tank will take care of itself using the bacteria in human waste without additives. Spend your money on a good meal instead... it’ll make its way out the other end and do just the same thing as this product. 💩

Great product to help your septic field! I put it in the toilet once a year and my septic system has been running fine. Enzymes for your septic system is a must or a new field at the cost of thousands of dollars is not on my list. Easy to use, no smell, economical!

Our septic sludge was coming to the surface and really making a foul odor. Thought we was going to have to replace lines. I wanted to give this stuff a try. I shocked the system with a gallon each month for 2 months. I was really surprised when I opened the lid how good it smelled, LOL. End of the 1st month I noticed the sludge on the surface was starting to dry up and the smell was going away. 2nd month was even better all dried up and the smell was gone. Each month afterwards I'm going to put a half gallon for a healthy septic system. People this stuff works great, at least for me it did. Beats spending a couple thousand dollars for a new lateral system.

I have used the whole bottle now with instructed doses for home septic, and I do not see any change in issues we have had. I think I’ll go back to using Instant Power Septic Shock, which seems to do a better job at drying out my field. We have had a ton of rain this year, more than usual, so maybe this product is ok for simple maintenance.

Adding 8oz per month in my 500 gallon system keeps it at a healthy bacteria level to prevent common problems to septic systems. I've used this for a year in the past and noticed a positive benefit. After it wasn't available, I switched to a different brand which was also good, but I was glad to see the availability of this return on Amazon.

Had trouble with blocked septic line. Took time to dig up line. When I got line unclogged, I expected rush of black water. Liquid that came out of line from septic tank looked like very weak tea. (A lot of liquid. ) I was impressed that it didn't stink to the high heavens. Have recommended to friends and family.

Worked like it says but Canada post does not deliver packages to our house as we have a gate to keep the elk out. Purolater knows how to open gates! They have always delivered withCanada post ! Have to drive 10 miles in and 10 miles back every time Amazon uses Canada post

Full of microbes and definitely good for both shock treatment and maintenance. Has a pleasant smell too.

Had really stinky smells coming from our shower as a result of the treatment plant in our garden. Used this and smell gone within a week!I use it on a weekly basis now to keep things smelling fresh!
