Good product
pH is great for plants like blueberries. If you want to start out easy, this is the way to go as additives take time to change pH levels.

Really nice healthy soil (updated October 2022)
I only have two complaints. I've ordered four bags and in one of them a large alive grey jumping spider was found. That's the only bug I saw but it gave me a good spook when my hand brushed against it. It also ascended to God knows where in my house afterwards. My second issue was bag number three had a hole in the top part where a seam is supposed to be. It was in the middle of the seam and about two inches long I didn't take a picture because it wasn't really a big deal and not much soil leaked out anyways. The soil seemed fine as well.Besides all of that, it really is a nice dark soil with healthy amounts of mulch in it. The bags aren't super heavy and I appreciate it. For future buyers, be very careful when cutting open the box because you can very easily slice the bag in it while doing so. I'm using this soil for my Meyer lemon and I might come back in a few months with an update on it's growth.Update: it's been seven months and my Meyer lemon has had no issues with this soil. I've of course mixed it with some sand, perlite, and dry citrus fertilizer before potting the Meyer lemon since they can be picky. Anyways I've got small lemons growing on my tree now and it is very happy. This soil is great!

Fantastic soil
I mixed mine with a hefty amount of vermiculite to help with the 90 degree plus summer heat. Then mixed in some Coast of Maine lobster shell & kelp fertilizer. Used it to plant 60 everbearing strawberry slips & then mulched in thickly with pine needles I had raked up & reserved for my spring project. My plants are healthy & huge & are already producing berries. I would not hesitate to purchase this soil again. The results speak for the product. Food does not grow in the grocery stores!

Blueberry soil
Good soil I have used it before with good results. Cheaper here than buying at my local nursery.

I measured the pH at 6.9
I measured two different bags, a wet sample and dry, with both a digital tester and test strips. I got a few readings as low as 6.5, but my guess is it's manufactured to be neutral, 7.0. So for blueberries adding an acidifier (usually some form of sulfur) is called for to get the pH below 6. Otherwise the texture, etc. may be just fine for them; I have no opinion on that yet.
