Peace of mind.
I purchased a 4-pack (1 for each member of our family) and put into each vehicle). I almost used it immediately as we got caught in a snow storm in Pennsylvania and the roads were not plowed. Gave me peace of mind even though we did not have to use them.

I hope I never have to use this!
I was looking for something to keep in my car and in my 18 year old son's car for emergencies. I didn't want to spend a lot, but wanted something that might possibly save a life. The reason I got four of them is because a dear friend who used to be an addict living on the streets (now sober and housed! PTL!) told me that mylar blankets had saved his life more than once when it was very cold. I kept two, and gave away two to some homeless folks. Who knows? Maybe they will save a life, if not ours, then someone else's.

Just like picture
Love these emergency blankets. Great for Christmas gifts to be kept in car. Just like the picture. Easy to assemble. Compact enough to keep in purse or car

I bought 8 for Christmas presents next year. What a fantastic and possibly life-saving idea.

Ordered for my trip Nov 16. Delivery was expected Nov 12. At 5pm on Nov 12, got message that it will now be delivered Nov 21. No option to cancel since I won't be here. Update: Nov 14 - package got delivered! No idea why yesterday, it showed delivery pushing out to Nov 21. Item looks exactly like what I expected. Very light so won't notice it when carrying. Extra ones to store in each car. Looks good.

Definitely handy to have and to leave in your vehicle just in case… Decades ago I got caught in a storm on Highway 40 one North Way N. and my car broke down and I didn’t have anything really to keep me warm… and when the police arrived they immediately led me to their car to warm up and they had my vehicle towed, and then I went to the police station where I warmed up further. I mean, it was a bad experience, but the service that I got from the police was just amazing! And I was waiting for over two hours. My car wasn’t starting. If I would’ve had this, I don’t know if they made it back then it would’ve been perfect to keep me warm anyway cause I almost got frost bitten maybe I had mild case of frostbite but no serious injury from it.
