Some things about my spoons: They are carved by hand and I leave them with the faceted, smooth texture left by the knife Each spoon is unique, based on the piece of wood I have in hand and on my mood on the day I'm carving it. I do reuse patterns, but this is a living process that produces living objects and a pattern is only the beginning. They are all finished in the traditional Swedish manner, soaked for three days in organic flax seed oil so that it penetrates deep and lasts long These are spoons that are made to be used.
