Best clip on tuner I've used, I've had a few and this one is the most reliable- easy to see and easy to use.

THE MANUAL IS WRONG, THERE HAS BEEN A HARDWARE/FIRMWARE REVISION AND YOU KNOW HAVE TO DOUBLE CLICK THE DISPLAY BUTTON TO SWITCH BETWEEN NEEDLE MODE AND STOBE MODE!!!! I nearly sent mine back as faulty but a bit of googling gave me the answer. I'm very glad I didn't, this tuner is superb. Many clip on tuners struggle to pick up the low E or B on my electric bass. But this tuner has no issues and is even good enough to set the intonation at the 12th fret. I wonder how many have been sent back because TC Electronic haven't updated the manual about double clicking instead of single press.

The only question is whether you get this or the Polytune version. Either way, you'll have a very good tuner that is both accurate and reliable. Don't bother skimping on a cheaper alternative, just get this and never look back.

This is simply the best headstock tuner that I have found for £30 ; very responsive and accurate for daily use with minimal issues folding away. As a guitar teacher, I've gone through a myriad of other brands/models (most of which break too easily in transit) as the TC Unitune has served me solid for years in my teaching bag - this review is actually based on me buying a 2nd one for home use! I wouldnt bother with anything more expensive (like the TC Polytune or Peterson Strobe Tuber) as this will be all most players need before going the tuner-pedal route. Highly recommended you buy one ASAP!

I've always had trouble using clip-on tuners with bass but this one picks up the low notes perfectly. Even the low B on my 5 string is easy to tune on this one. I like having the option of strobe or needle displays and the display is nice and bright.

The standard recently seems to be Snarks, but I've generally found that while they work well they break easily and the rubber shoe is easily lost. This is a pricey upgrade but it is hands down the best clip on tuner I've ever used. The tracking is smooth and easy to read. I've been gigging with it for a year or so and its still as new / hasn't needed a battery change. Would recommend.

I have a number of guitar tuners both clip-on and plug-in. When one of my tuners was accidently stepped on and broken I looked around at what to replace it with. I saw this tuner on Amazon that had largely positive reviews but was double the cost of most other standard clip-on tuners. I assumed that meant this would be of higher quality in some way such as flexibility or accuracy. This tuner is a pain in almost every respect and certainly not worth the asking price compared to other tuners. Firstly, there is no swivel in the tuner so you have to position it on the headstock in a way you can see it, this can be difficult for some guitars. Secondly, the auto power off feature is far too short by about a factor of 3. Especially if you have just re-strung a guitar and need to spend a little longer tuning each string. I had to turn this on 3 times. Thirdly, if you are on a sharp or flat note, the indicator is tiny on the right hand side which is easy to miss. I had accidentally tuned a string to D sharp rather than D and didn't realise until it just didn't sound right. Fourthly, the display is erratic if you don't hold the guitar dead still. It flicks between opposite sides on the display and is ultra annoying and confusing. The tuner is no more accurate than most standard clip-on tuners at under half this price of which there are many on Amazon that do not have all these annoying traits. The only good point I can say about this tuner is that it folds completely flat for storage, but there is nothing else better about this tuner that justifies the high price compared to other clip-on tuners. I certainly would not recommend this tuner over others, and it certainly doesn't justify the asking price. I am not even sure I could recommend it if it was half the listed price.

I love these Unitune tuners. They’re accurate, easy to read, and they just work well every time. I keep one in each gigging guitar’s case and another in my equipment bag. I’ve also had Polytune which are just as good, I just don’t need the Poly functionality and the Unitune is a few bucks cheaper.

Un peu cher mais quel qualitée ! (pince en métal, écran lumineux, toutes les options d'accordage possible) plus précis que le polytunes à pince, à prendre absolument pour toute guitare acoustique !

Top Genauigkeit, Reaktion und Ablesbarkeit. Zur Batterielaufzeit kann ich noch nichts schreiben. Der Cliptuner ist etwas größer als einige Konkurrenten.
