Unless you are trying to chip ice off a block, I'm not sure why anyone would use a single ice pick!This pronged pick breaks apart ice cubes like a champ, & it's paired with a handy ice tong.

I’ve enjoyed hacking away at the ice with this pick, so much so that I have to remind myself that some ice is required for the glass. Very sharp, so dare is needed.

I buy 16lb bags of ice cubes/chunks from an Ice House dispenser a couple of blocks from home. I live in FL - HOT. The bags are too large to fit into my cooler. It melts a little on the way home & when it refreezes, the cubes are stuck together. This ice tool is plenty sturdy for breaking the blob of ice up in the freezer. Easy peasy!

I purchased this thinking 3 spikes must be better than one and it looks cool. Well, it still looks cool, but I keep it in a drawer so that doesn't really matter. I don't go through a lot of ice from my freezer so I got this to break it up for when I do want some ice. It works fine, but I expected it to rock my ice-breaking world and it just doesn't. Maybe it's better suited for blocks of ice, but I suspect a single spike might've been more useful for my purposes. It works and it wasn't very expensive. I don't love it, but I didn't send it back and I'm not replacing it with something else.

I have a nugget ice maker and I transfer the ice to my freezer container. It tends to stick together so I have this in there to break it up and it works fantastically! Highly recommend this tool. Works so much better than the scoop alone. Only one issue - I did not received the tongs, but I wouldn’t use them anyway so I don’t really care.
