All fired up
So sad that this Fastway lineup could not have last longer. These two recordings were performed in 1983 & 1984, in thattime I owned the records and turned me into Hard Rock. Thestyle is similar to Led Zeppelin since David King (voc.)soundsso much like Robert Plant. I already have the first Fastway CD,but could not be able to find "All fired up", now I got twocopies from the first one (though the first includes "Farfar from home" as bonus track, not included on this one).I seriously considered purchasing the "Fastwat Collection" but Icouldn't understand why does that not include the song "Tellme" from All fired up, this song is something else, is akiller, really. Jerry Shirley sounds perfect on drums (formerHumble Pie) and so does Charlie McKraken on bass (former ofTaste-Rory Gallagher), obviously Fast Eddie Clarke's riffsand solos are the trademark of Fastway's sound. In spite theshort life of this band, they created great music, greathard rock that is worth to have it (even more if you're aZeppelin fan).

From Motorhead to Fastway....
....Fast Eddie Clark went from the extreme hard rock or Motorhead to the bluesy Fastway. I like both bands. If you like ZZ Top & Rory Gallagher, then you might like Fastway. I bought this because the best of CD titled "The Collection" didn't have my favorite Fastway song on it called TELL ME. That song was released as a single & the video was played all over TVs in the mid 80s.Worth the price of admission.

Very Good Old Style Blues-Metal!!!!
I really can't add much that hasn't already been hashed without admitting that I'm older than dirt and my most commonly used word is "What"! But I want to add that Pete Way (UFO) played the Bass on the first LP (I bought it the day after it hit the shelves) hense the name: "FASTWAY" Git It, no really Git IT!!!Real Metal is On It's Way Back, So if You Do Not Like LEAD GUITAR mixed with you bloody grooves - YOU LOOSE!!!!!JRK

Great 2 for 1 CD
Well worth getting if you need the All Fired Up album, as for some strange reason, on vinyl or CD it fetches silly collector's prices.Great debut and 2nd albums from the legendary Fastway, and every track is a winner.

METTEZ L' TURBO, FASTWAY IS THE WAY TO GOOOOOOO!!!
