Happy happy happy!
I got this for a friend. Her young child who is a little over a year old has cerebral palsy. He has issues with sensory touching he doesn't like to have clothes on or anything like that so I took this to her to help her with his sensory touching. So now this is put in there with his physical therapy regimen they made it part of his plan to help with touching. I got to witness his first time in it and its really soft he can move around in it and his mom is quite happy with it. So I think this made the perfect gift for the type of circumstances. So I'm quite impressed that there are things like this out there. We took a chance in did a test and will be looking for other things as well. Anything that can help that little boy.

Such a lifesaver
This is such a lifesaver to have at home. My son has major sensory/anxiety issues. This and a homemade weighted lap pad are the only tools that work every time he feels overwhelmed and is about to melt down. Just FYI, you might want to size down. I bought a large size (56") that was exactly his height, but when he went inside it, he said it was too big and didn't provide enough resistance. So I bought one size down and he immediately loved it. He goes inside entirely, no sticking his head out, and I can see he is instantaneously soothed and feels safe. I'm saving the large for when he grows taller.

Seam is starting to come apart!
My kids like this; but after only using it on three different occasions, the seam is starting to come apart. I had hoped that it would hold up better than this & unfortunately I'm just out of the return window. Perhaps I just got a bad one, but I wouldn't recommend it based on the lack of durability.

This product is tearing at the seam after less than five uses. I wish I could bet a replacement but don't see how.** Update: I have been issued a replacement by Amazon. Thank you! The material is great for the sensory purpose , however, easy to start tearing. Maybe the replacement will last longer!

Good for stretching and relaxing
My girls love using these to relax and sometimes we do large motor dancing and stretching with them. Seem to be good quality and hopefully will last.

Popped Seam in Less Than 24 Hours
Just got this in the mail yesterday, and it's already popped a seam. My son is already in love with his "cocoon" but it won't seem to last long at all. Very disappointed. The attached photo is just holding it down so the camera would focus, not even any tension on the fabric and the seam is that stretched.Update: Ordered a replacement and got it in 2 days. Once again, within 24 hours, this one has actually broken the stitching right where it meets with the Velcro opening and now has a big hole in the seam. Ready to return this one as well and find a more durable brand.

My niece is autistic-high functioning but really needed some alone time when hanging out with other children- SHE LOVES HER COCOON (as she calls it). Whenever she gets overwhelmed and needs some down time she crawls into her little cocoon and calms down- then comes out fresh as day. She brags about it so much I plan to buy several others for my own children.

Threading is weak.
My son loves it, though the threading came loose near the opening, within the first 20 minutes of my son using this item.
