Other reviews said the letters were small, but they were as advertised for me. They are a corrugated plastic, and come with plenty of metal stakes. My kids (7 and 8) helped me stake them and put them in the snow (very easy to assemble!) The pictures were taken the night before the baby came home, but I wanted to show the size in relation to the kids. The snow mound helped them to appear bigger, at more of an eye level. If you are able, in warmer months, try staking them into a hay bale, or something similar to prop them off the ground a bit, for more visual appeal.

I was disappointed w/ the size of this sign--It really did not show up very large in a big yard.

We loved this yard sign. The letters are a bit shorter than what they look like in the picture, BUT, overall, you can see the display and if you get this item, two poles go into each letter to keep it sturdy in the ground. You can reuse multiple times and not bad at all for the price!!!
