I have an old tuxedo jacket with tails, and there were tears along the lapel. I bought these iron on patches, and used them to repair the tears. I have worn my snazzy jacket (faded black jacked with snazzy purple patches) and have received many compliments.

I have several dusters that I wear around the house and I'm constantly wearing the elbows thin. I wanted an extra large patch & these did the job. I was impressed at how well they held up well in the wash, also. I have had to "re-iron" them a couple of times, but since you're constantly bending your elbows, it's understandable that they could loosen up a little at the corners. A quick touch-up with the iron & they were right back in place.

The purple cloth material started coming off after one wash.
