Ditch the bikini bottoms!
My daughter loves saving time and sunscreen with these swim shorts vs bikini bottoms. The shorts are double layered fabric, so no peek-a-boo of privates when they are wet. She is petite framed, average height 52” and weighs 60lb. Fits the size 6 perfectly right now. The 8 is a bit loose all around. Both sizes hit her about 2” above the knee.

Great for active swimmers
My daughter loves these shorts. She tends to get wedgies with standard swimwear so this solves that issue for her.

Good fit and coverage
These work really nicely for my daughter. She's almost seven and big for her age, and a size eight fits well (hoping they will fit her until next summer, but we'll see). I deducted one star because one end of the drawstring tie slipped through the hole in the shorts the first time my daughter wore them to the pool. Thankfully the shorts fit her well enough that we don't need to tie the drawstring, but that could be an issue if you have a slimmer child. My daughter is pretty sensitive to seams, etc and these shorts don't bother her at all.

Great quality, sizing challenges
These are nice jammers, excellent quality and vibrant color as pictured. Returned the first pair because they were too small in the waist and ordered the next size up. The larger size is too roomy (especially around the legs), however the waist is adjustable and eventually my child will grow into them. I just wish they fit more like traditional jammers or bike shorts for older children.

Nice thick material, but piling an issue
I like the length of these shorts and they area nice thick material, but after only 2 times of wearing these, the fabric is already starting to wad up and look like crap on the back and on a leg. I bought 2 pairs of these for my 9yo and 7yo and one is worse than the other with the piling, but I already see signs of it happening in the 2nd pair, as well. Doesn't seem it is preventable, unfortunately.

These fit nicely and came down to just above the knee. Just what I was looking for.

Good length for the beach
I like a longer swim short for my daughter when we go to the lake or the beach. These run a little small but not too bad. They should fit my 8 year old for the season.
