Alpha's Sacrifice: an MMMM Mpreg Romance (Irresistible Omegas) Paperback – April 12, 2018

Omg this book! I read it in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down.So we have four main characters here. Two alphas, Lidon and Enar; a beta, Palani; and an omega, Vieno. The alphas are friends, as are the beta and omega. They all meet under very trying circumstances and from that point on, all of their relationships with each other are nothing short of complicated. I immediately had a soft spot for Palani, and my heart hurt for him so many times. I kinda wanted to smack Lidon. A lot. It's just a big tangle of biological and emotional needs and wants that don't always perfectly align.On top of them trying to sort out their relationships, the story lines happening in the background are so interesting and in-depth ... we're talking police corruption, a mysterious medical condition, and so much more. (I don't want to give spoilers!)The world the author has set up here is compelling and somewhat brutal. It's an omegaverse, not shifters, but the omegaverse is born out of shifter ancestors. So it's kind of like shifters who don't shift but maintain some shifter traits, and instead of having a wolf in them, they have their designation (you might see an alpha say something like "my alpha is telling me blah blah blah" instead of "my wolf is telling me"). I found it fascinating. It's brutal because betas are second-class citizens and omegas are literal property with zero rights.To clarify a few things, this is labeled as MMMM and once you read it you will know why, but it's not like these four characters are all getting it on at the same time (yet). And mpreg is mentioned, but so far mostly as something others are dealing with. Also if anyone is wondering, since this is book one, it does end on a sort of HFN. Actually it ends on an awesome reveal of a HFN. I'm comfortable with the ending while also ready to beg for book two.I would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who likes alpha/beta/omega dynamics and the possibility of more than two men together. And future mpreg, I'm guessing!

The first time I tried to read this book I put it down after a few pages as I didn't see how a mmmm romance could work.I was looking for something too read and came across this one again while I was surfing on my Kindle. I thought I would give it a try again, so glad I did! This book was very good and well written .I loved all the main characters and I love alpha beta and omega as well. Plot was well developed and thought out.There. is a cliff hanger but the next book is already out.there is an ongoing back story as well. Will definitely be reading the next book in series!!

I struggled to finish this book because I was too emotional, it just brought back memories of a dear friend of mine who suffered from menorrhagia and it was so life threatening that she’d faint from too much pain and other times her fever would be so high we always feared that she’d succumb which in the end she did.Back to the book, it was a great read, I actually enjoyed it so much it wasn’t focused on heat and the the pleasures but important topics, it’s amazing how the author managed to do it and what was interesting as well is the relationship dynamics, it was heartbreaking and beautiful to read.Thank you Kati ❤️ (I picked this book up because of her… my babe 😊)

Another great omegaverse book, this time in a modern setting.The players:Lidon – Alpha. Cop. Commanding but tender.Enar – Alpha. Doctor. Caring but also needs to be taken care of.Palani – Beta. Reporter. A bit too mouthy for his own good.Vieno – Omega. Personal assistant. Sweet, dipped in sugar and everyone wants to lick him.It’s suppose to be an MMMM romance, and in a way it is, but in this first book there isn’t any sex where all four men are involved. There is plenty of sex however between… well… all of them, just not together. The heat level is off the charts.Palani and Vieno are childhood friends and lovers, but complications with his heat require that Vieno take on an alpha’s help, because Palani, as a beta is not enough. His doctor Enar, who’s very understanding and compassionate, could help, but he’s not strong and dominant enough to handle Vieno, so the good doctor asks his best friend for help. Lidon thinks they all crazy. But there’s something about the little omega that draws him in, also his not a heartless bastard to just leave an omega in pain.The dynamic between the men got disrupted thanks to that encounter and other more pressing issues. There’s confusion and heartbreak. Around the 50% mark I felt I was reading two books with two couples (and I mean that as a compliment). One couple was more romantic, sweet, and tender with each other, while the other couple was more playful and they were still in the early stages of them getting to know each other. But at the same time the four of them belonged together and it was there all along just below the surface, the author didn’t let us forget that.There’s also a hint of mystery in the story, regarding birth control pills and suicidal omegas, and their profession connects them together even more, even Vieno. He’s kind of in the center of all this.So we didn’t see the four men together yet, and we also didn’t see the mystery get solved. The whole thing will unfold in the second book. I loved how the author – deliberately or not, but definitely in a clever way – dragged it out. The four men needed to go slow, otherwise it would’ve felt very rushed, and sloppy, it would’ve been all about the sex.Highly recommend it to omegaverse lovers, but keep in mind their story isn’t finished, there’s a second book, and there will be a third? We’ll see.

This was such a good read. Loved the story and all the hot men. Really well written and kept me engaged the entire read. A must read

How do you mange to write 4 people in love and do it well? Nora Phoenix is setting a template.Omegaverse already is hard niche to write and often it's a hit or a miss and to add more than 2 lovers is just ambitious. But I'm happy to report it was good and then some.Mainly because along with steamy scenes and the relationship development, we get to read a political suspense too. There's so much going on here but nothing feels out of place. There's no over reaching and you don't feel as if you're sacrificing logic to see these beautiful men come together.I think book 2 is going to be a blast. On to my next one lads!

This is my very fist delve into the world of Shifters, and Nora tells this story with love, care and an attention to detail that is so beautiful to read. Her characters are alive and breathing, and I just fell in love with them. This world is new to me, and now I can't wait to devour the rest of her books in this series! You HAVE to read this!

A mmmm book, I was very skeptical.That did not last long, after a few pages I was totally fascinated..It's not a "we do it like the rabbits" book, on the contrary.Nora Phoenix wrote an incredibly exciting, diverse story..About Palani, the beta reporter who gives up everything for his friend, the love of his life. ..About Lidon, an extremely dominant but also very sensitive Alpha Cop..About Vieno, an omega torn between his love and the biological necessity..About Enar, the Alpha Doc with the size secret and the same big heart..A story about family, love and cohesion, the discovery that everything is not as it seems..And this packed into a framework that is exciting as an Agatha Christie crime novel. Mutated genes, drugs, desperate husbands, unexplained suicides, shifters that can no longer shift..I'm really looking forward to the second part

I truly loved the story. Can't wait for the next book.Even though there is still a second book, the first book ends with a happy ending. There are still a lot of unanswered questions. I'm excited to see where the story leads to.
