When we as a family decided to add Monopoly to our game night shelves, we shopped the various themed boards extensively before settling on this Spongebob meme edition. We waited with anticipation for its arrival, and were pleased that it was everything we were looking for!The board is sturdy, the cards, tokens, properties, and money all standard Monopoly quality. The board isn't folded in half, but four-folded, which was a bit different, but it was straight and sturdy when opened, so wasn't something we considered an issues. The terminology and in-cheek humor are perfect. We did have some issues as we played finding a couple of the tokens as they moved around the board, as they tended to end up disappearing against the bright and colorful board, but that was minor compared the fun we all had playing.If you like Spongebob and are looking for a Monopoly game, this is a great one. Everyone enjoyed -- adults, older kids, and younger. We're happy this is the version we added to our game night options.

I haven't played monopoly in years and my wife has never played it ever. It was a bit confusing learning this one having not played in so long just because it's not as intuitive. What I mean is in basic monopoly you are buying properties renting them out etc. In this game you are getting memes and boosting your memes, and there's money to be made from comments and shares. It's almost like new age nfts and streamers or meme pages. But once we understood this it was really a lot of fun and spongebob is always a laugh. I love charging people for landing on my squidwards!
