The Loft Conversion Manual :

Covers lots of interesting information, but more of an overview than actionable 'how to'. Despite being the 2021 edition, a lot of the pictures and methods seem rather dated - the book shows rooflight aprons flashed with lead, for example, rather than manufacture supplied flashing kits which is standard nowadays. One for the interested / curious home owner, rather than someone intending to do a loft conversion themselves - it just doesn't give that much practical advice and dedicates a lot of page space to fringe cases. Caveat - I might be biased: I bought this book to check out the current offerings as I'm in the process of making an online course for those involved in loft conversions.

Excellent book. Lots of pictures and diagrams. I am more of a pictures person but the text was also very good. I have a loft full of premade trusses. Lots of ideas in this book. Highly recommend.
