My Lenovo C640, purchased in 2020, had been sailing smooth until recently. One day, I shut the laptop down like normal. The next day, turning it back on, I could not only not get on wifi, but my laptop was acting like there was no wifi card installed. Checking the drivers revealed that my wifi card was not initializing properly. After many attempts to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, do cold boots, BIOS resets, etc. nothing was working. I was going to resort to a full Windows reinstall when my engineer coworker, a former Lenovo certified tech, opined that he simply thought the wifi chip died.Luckily, I was able to find this one-for-one replacement, and the new install took all of 5 minutes. Wifi is working like a charm now. Would highly recommend for anyone with a whitelisted onboard wifi chip, like in a Dell or Lenovo, to do a quick repair and save yourself a big old headache.

The seller (Chaos Computers) is a great guy. I ordered the wrong card by mistake but we spoke and he replaced it with the right card at no extra cost.I have an ASUS FX505DT with Ryzen 5. An Intel 9260 will NOT work in this laptop. The right card is Intel AX200.The Q&A sections for all wifi cards are full of wrong answers from random people. Please be careful, do your research before buying.
