Update not shipping correct qty.
Update: I just received my reoccurring order and instead of a box of 6ea I received 1 package of rice only. I was granted a refund but would like to know why it happened as I have seen in reviews it’s happening to others too. Can someone tell us why the change and when to expect to be able to order a complete box 6ea and actually receive it?I really like this rice it’s a great item to have on hand for a snack or a quick and easy meal. I just heat up some frozen vegetables along with this rice and maybe a little tuna fish (a can of all white tuna) and wolla dinner is done, my quick easy meal. I do wish it came with 1 & 1/2 the amount (Update there is a bigger size but paid $22+ for one bag thinking it was for a case of 6, nope it was for one bag 16oz of rice. Read carefully) so my husband and I could make one bag instead of two ending and ending up with leftovers (we don’t care for leftover rice). I also realized it says to open the bag a little before putting in the microwave but this tends to dry out the rice, so I like heating without ripping bag, (heat for 10 seconds less to avoid bag popping). I only did as instructed once, yuck, didn’t enjoy it at all. I love this little bag also on days my stomach is bad and I can only eat rice. It’s such a convenience not having to take the time to make a whole pot and then clean it up. 90 second rice is such an awesome idea even though it’s ridiculously expensive when you think about how much dry rice cost, but I do love it. It’s cool that they have a see through bottom, but I forget it’s there, until I‘m dumping it on my plate, but it could be a nice feature. I still prefer making rice the old fashion way when time allows, then you can season it and use whatever grain you prefer. I prefer medium grain, but will eat long grain when using the pouch.

Tastes great, perfect for time crunched days ( like right before the holidays).
I almost always prepare my rice in a rice cooker but sometimes it’s hard to make time during the frantic holiday rush. Having this rice on hand for a quick meal, perhaps with some quickly sautéed chicken tenders is cheaper than eating out. It’s also very convenient for a stir fry, already firm enough to workThis jasmine rice is my back-up solution when I can’t make my home cooked rice , one of the few convenience foods that doesn’t compromise on flavor or texture. I add some butter or olive oil after heating and no one is the wiser. They assume it was fresh cooked. It’s also an ideal choice to keep in your office, assuming there’s a microwave nearby. If you have to stay late, a package of this rice is healthier than a candy bar and easy to combine with any protein you might also keep on hand -beans, canned meat, etc.We also keep packets in our emergency food kits, just in case we’d have to evacuate our home for some reason. The packets are very light and this rice tastes fine, even when at room temperature, way better than many of the overly processed and unappealing dehydrated meals out there. Each package is enough for 2 people and , at the current price, each bag costs about $2.00. Making your own rice is admittedly far cheaper. But this is a good option when that isn’t possible and cheaper, per serving, than vending machine choices.
