The Worst Princess Hardcover – April 22, 2014

My 3 year old daughter loves this book and so do I. She loves the pictures and follows the story really well, I love the message of this book. It's definitely a story about female empowerment, but its also cute and funny, not preachy.

This book is so cute for a non-princess-y type of girl. I like it personally because I am trying to avoid the "princess culture". A lot of the cleverness in the word choice is over my daughter's head at the moment (she's 3) but it won't be long.

I love this book has fun poking at the standard princess tropes. I wish this was around when I was a kid to make me - and boys of my age - re-examine the standard expectations of a princess. Very cute illustrations too. Vivid colors and very detailed. After reading this from the library, I got one for my kids and gifted one to another family.

Wonderful book, I bought it after hearing it read on Bookaboo, I even read it to my Children's Literature class! Everyone loved it, nice twist on Happily Ever After.

This book is terrific for young, spirited girls, especially those in the midst of a princess craze. The illustrations are great and the lesson is just right!

Fun "rhyming book" as the kids put it (and it does in fact rhyme). If you approve of girl empowerment, dragons, and fantasy, you'll like this book.

A sassy princess who is happy to meet her prince. When she discovers that the Prince's expectations are are trying to turn her into something she's not, she goes on her own adventures. This is one of my favorite books to gift. It also comes in French, for the multilingual family!

A precious reminder to all princesses that your happily ever after can be anything you want it to be. Funny and refreshing!

Fun twist on the whole dragon princess thing :-)

This was recommended for me as a great role model book for girls and I wasn't disappointed. I love the rhymes and the humour. It's become a regular in our house and an antidote to the simpering princesses in a lot of other books, perfect for our feisty toddler!

Best book ever!!! My 4 and 6 year old boys love it and so do I! We buy it, with Sir Lily Pad, as a gift all the time!! Very little prince and princess should read!
