Very easy to install and the brightness can be adjusted via the app, which I really like and brings more comfort and peace of mind to my life.

The first thing we noticed with this product was the amount of static electricity produced when it was removed from the box, and believe it or not, it made my wife's hair stand on end. Everyone probably knows how to create the same effect by simply rubbing an inflated balloon against your head, but that's not to say that this ceiling light is like a balloon, however, it is lightweight, and it is manufactured from what appears to be cheap plastic.The ceiling light is compatible with Alexa and Google Home, but when the product description states "allows you to control the light with simple voice commands", that really is nothing more than poetic license, because connectivity is hit and miss, and you will find nothing simple about 'asking' this light unit to change colour. Bear in mind that the cover of the ceiling light has speckles (it is not completely white), which, I'm assuming, is a cheap way of creating the look of twinkling starlight.£29.99 (when ordered) is expensive for what you receive, the overall quality of the light unit is average at best, it does work, and the dimmer function can be easily controlled with voice commands, but as far as value for money is concerned, it falls short.

I have a very similar light on the landing (upper hallway) and it has lasted about a year with no problems. The version I am reviewing today is a Wi-Fi version rather than a physical remote control. As such, this model is supported by Alexa. The benefit to this is I can use voice control to dim the lights when I am taking a relaxing bath. Unfortunately, changing the colour seems only possibly using the APP...either Alexa, or Tuya APP will do, but it's still an upgrade. It is possible to set up a routine using Alexa to change the colour, so that is something I will be doing to set the colour with a voice command.

If you are looking for a new led ceiling then check this item. Im not sure how long this led light will last but so far so good.1. The quality is good, lightweight yet durable.2. Easy to set up - the instruction booklet is easy to understand and follow.3. Easy to use- can be controlled via switch, remote, voice control or phone.4. easy to wire up but the app could not pair to the light tried for ages but the bluetooth would not find it, the supplied remote does not have a very good control distance

Totally plastic and very unfortunate inside wasn’t remote control!!! Disappointing
