Best travel kettle I've owned
Are you tired of crappy hotel room coffee or tea? I bought this to solve this problem. It heats up very quickly and the auto shut-off feature is great. BUT if you are staying in high altitude hotels, that feature will not work (usually above 4,000 ft, 1,000 meters) so you need to pay attention and shut it off manually. Collapses into a very small package. I take it everywhere and it packs easily. Simple to clean since the collapsable sides are made of silicone. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Kettle
When we travel whether Airbnb or hotel, I love my pour over coffee in the morning and need a kettle. This one is perfect size, heats very fast, and the great thing is it keeps the water hot without constantly pushing down the button. No other kettle I have ever seen does this. Honestly if it was a bit bigger, I would use it for everyday use and not just travel. I may look for a bigger one. Handle is sturdy, I never felt like it wasn't going to hold the kettle steady since the kettle is silicone type and flexible (collapsible)

Handle folds sideways, so compresses smaller than the other type with a non-folding handle
Update: On/off switch broke after 1 year and 7 months of use, so I downgraded this from 5 to 4 stars. Have been using it a lot, though, not just on trips, also almost daily in my kitchen. Also, fairly early on the fake metal paint or finish on the little knob on the top of the cover wore or tarnished and a light blue color showed through, looked a bit cheap. The kettle worked fine until the on-off switch broke. Debating whether to get it again. It's great for travel, but maybe I wouldn't use it day-to-day since the switch mechanism is very flimsy. (When the switch broke I took its red plastic cover off, and inside I could see how flimsy the internal metal bits to the switch are, one little piece had broken right off.)Original review: Have used this on two long Amtrak trips right in the train, and in several motels and hostels. Great for travel. Metal base, collapsible silicon sides. Comes with a drawstring travel bag and removable cord with 3-prong plug. This type of folding silicon kettle folds flatter than the other type out there, since on this one the handle folds sideways when packed down. Plus, when this handle is up, it pops into the top rim of kettle, which prevents the kettle from collapsing when you don't want it to. Check the selling images carefully, you will see what I mean. Other type of handle is only attached at the top, doesn't add rigidity to the kettle from what I can see. And the whole thing takes up more space when folded.Be sure to bring a simple plug converter to two-prong from 3-prong, cheap at the hardware store - can't use the 3-prong plug it comes with on Amtrak or in most (U.S.) motels. And of course a different adapter for overseas travel. Can even boil up to 4 eggs in it! A 5th egg does fit in on top of the other 4, but instructions say not to fill it that high with water, supposed to stop a couple inches from the top. I never put soup or other food items in it, as it would be too hard to wash and would gunk up the inside (you can't immerse kettle in water to wash, would damage electrical part, just wipe it out with a cloth).I even use it every day for boiling water at home now - the water boils much faster than on the stove

Exactly what I needed!
I travel a lot internationally, and even in the nicer hotels, sometimes they offer only nescafe in the rooms. I hate paying a small fortune for a cup of coffee, so this is perfect. I also bought the collapsible funnel, so I can now make a perfect pour over in my room. I also hate taking up time in my morning going out to breakfast if it's not included, so this also allows me to heat water and make instant oatmeal in my room. It folds down to under 2 inches high, so it's easy to pack. I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy it!

Travel tea pot
This pot works great heats quickly and keeps it warm by going on and off and does turn off automatically when it gets low. Folds down easily and saves much room in my suitcase.

Only worked for 2 days!
This kettle is very compact to take in your suitcase. But beware! It only worked for 2 days, and then nothing. We had to resort to running water through the hotel's drip coffee pot and our tea tasted like stale coffee! Yuk!
