First off this is a great product. Very satisfied!!It has a wooden top if you want to leave the top cushion off and use as a table or we put the kitties foor and water there so the Yorkie doesn't indulge. You could add a polyurethane finish it would be water resistant for spills if you choose. I just added a silicone pat food mat.The assembly is super easy and they send a small screwdriver so it comes together fast and everything is in the box. The predrilled holes line up great and the instructions are easy to follow. Also it's big pieces.The size is perfect for 2 big cats.Overall, both of my cats took to it right away. And the solid wood top is fantastic.

She hated the flash on cameras so it's a bit darker of an image so as not to bother her but she is in her new little home as we speak so I snapped a quick pic to add to the review. This is such a clever little home that they are already enjoying very much. The real wood parts are great quality and I am so impressed with it. I would purchase again and recommend to everyone I know with kitties. They love to peak through the twisted roof and play with whoever is laying inside. I would say if you are on the fence of purchasing this and can't decide if you want to.......DO IT.......I truly can't see anyone regretting this purchase. I'm so very happy I snagged this one up when I could.

My cat has a love hate relationship with this little house. It took her about a week to even start using it because... well cats. Assembly was easy and probably took around 30-45 minutes to fully complete. Surprisingly its a lot smaller than I thought, I live in a small studio and this doesn't take up too much additional space. I placed it close to my kitchen and eventually she started to use the top section to sit and watch me prepare food, which is much more preferred than having her jump on my kitchen table or countertops. The one thing she doesn't use is the inside. To me its a little too enclosed and dark, the door opening should be a little bigger given how large the space is inside. Also, the stairs are mostly just for decor at this point, its a cat, she'll jump up. However, if you have a cat that needs assistance, then the stairs have a purpose. Its been around 4 months since I received it and the only issue I've had is the stairs and bannister ledge tend to come loose, causing me to tighten it back up. Not a huge issue but that just tells me its not going to be super durable over time.

So easy to install, no kidding. Simple and elegant. Thanks to the genius ideas. I bought this for my neighbor's senior cat. She's almost 20 years old and we are expecting her to live another 20 years. She is healthy but just a little bit over weighted. LOL, she can't jump like the young ones. So this is just perfect for her. 2 to 3 minutes to fix it up. That easy

Both of my pomeranians are using this dog house all the time. Top and inside.To get them not to be afraid I put treat in and on top at different times.As a laymen I had no problem putting it together.I had it together in a very short amount of time.I never post pictures, however, this time I had too.I hope your pets enjoy it as much as my boys.

Perfect color for my family room and 1 of my cats goes in there all the time. It's sturdy and looks great.

I have the most spoiled cats on the planet. They have tons of toys and caves and stuff. This is their favorite.

The cats seem to like it so far, was a little worried as it feels like cheap wood for the structure, while screwing it all together it creaked a lot so was worried it would snap under weight.

Wanted a tent for my cats but were very flimsy. This is much better and my girls love it. May have to get another one 🙂

This is such a lovely piece of cat furniture! It is very high quality, and looks very classy in our home. It was super easy to assemble, and immediately the cats wanted to curl up inside. It is plenty large enough for our 18lb cat, with room to spare! Even our cat who is afraid of cat carriers and usually avoids enclosed spaces wanted to check this one out.I love how unique the design is of this cat house, and also the unusually large amount of space for them to stretch out inside (most cat beds and houses seem to be designed more for kittens). Depending on preference and season, you can have the bands flat for solid ‘walls’, or you can twist the bands so the walls are more open and it allows for more airflow.Overall this is a beautiful product - I love it, the cats love it, it is a win-win product all around. I highly recommend it - don’t let the high price tag turn you away, it is worth every penny!

The Good Parts- Very cute design- Easy to assemble, takes less than 15 minutes. Disassembly is just as easy.- You can "customize" the look of the house by re-ordering or flipping the elastic bands.- Not just for cats. Is also good for small dogs. My Havanese, who is around 13 pounds, has plenty of room inside.- The pieces are strong enough that I can see it lasting for quite some time.- Includes a pad- Not expensive as far as a mini dog/cat house goesHit or Miss- The pad is on the thin side. I thought it wouldn't provide enough support, but because the floor of the house is suspended by the elastic bands, it doesn't bottom out to the floor as easily as I thought.- Not all pets will take to it. They may need to get used to hanging out in a new spot, especially if they already have a favorite spot.

This is a beautiful cat bed! And such a different idea!The ribbons are actually massive elastics. They pull over the bed. I decided not to twist them, so mine is just assembled in a nice pattern but it's flat. My cats like to climb on the top this way, and sit there as well.The little pillow for the inside is very soft.It assembled very easily, and it is sturdy. My cats really love this bed - it's roomy and spacious for them, and they love to peak through the little slits between each ribbon.Very cute and attractive cat bed. I would definitely consider purchasing more in different shapes to place around my house.
