This book was given to us by a friend. As a female, I was totally amazed at the revelations about how God made boys and men, and how they are wired, and how God means for them to be in the light of how He has created them. It is wonderful insight into the thought patterns and heart of the men and boys among us, and it gave me a much broader understanding and appreciation for the situations I find myself in, caring for 15 boys at an orphanage in the Philippines. I highly recommend it to everyone!

I read the print version of this inspiring book and wanted my husband to be able to enjoy it as well but he prefers audio books - perfect solution. Our theology differs a bit (especially as regards the Fall) but Eldredge make truly beautiful and powerful points. A must read for every modern man and the women who love them. And their children. Just everyone should read this book!

Definitely would recommend reading this book and seeing the heart behind God.

Wild at Heart completely changed my perspective as a single mom. I can see my son through the eyes of what God originally created men to be and through the maze of how society has twisted that image. I have more respect and honor for my son and who he is and what I can support in him as his mom and as a woman.

I purchased this to read along with my husband. Although it did focus on a man's heart, as a mother of two boys, it helped me understand the deep seated desires of boys and men. I love John and Staci Eldridge-- haven't read a book of theirs I didn't like.
