This is my second time purchasing this kind of fan. I'm not sure if the first was the same brand but it was identical. Sadly, the first one stopped working after a couple of years of daily use. After the first broke, I went through 2 other types of fans that I ultimately stopped using because of faint buzzing sounds. I've been sleeping without a fan for a while but decided to purchase this before hot summer nights return. This is not the sturdiest fan but unless you expect to be bumping into it or have small children running around, it's fine. It's not going to spontaneously fall over but picking it up and moving it from one area to another requires two hands.If this fan only lasts me a year, I would absolutely buy another one. Here are my reasons:1. NO buzzing. If you want a fan to run while you are sleeping, this is the one.2. The pedestal type (4 "legs") is great because it looks cleaner and doesn't collect a layer of dust. You can clean under it too.3. In my opinion, this fan look is less visually imposing compared to a similar fan than has a solid base.4. Easy to use. Press button to turn on. Press another button to turn off. There isn't a remote but if you need to turn it on or off in the middle of the light, you can do so without turning any lights on.5. Simple in the best way. It does not have any blue lights or beeping sounds. It's just a fan.Overall I would highly recommend this fan. There's nothing worse than doing hours of research and spending $100+ on a "good quality" fan just for it to be unbearable to sleep with. At $30, I'd rather purchase 5 of these over time than spend $150 on a "good" fan that disappoints.

I really like this fan.It was easy to put together.Light but sturdy.Best of all it is quiet

El ventilador es funcional, tengo casi seis meses con él, funcionando unas 6 horas diarias, y no ha dado problemas.Los materiales no son de la mejor calidad, y el ensamble puede sentirse barato, pero, por el precio, me parece justo.En mi caso las aspas están un poco desbalanceadas, por lo que causa un ligero ruido al funcionar, pero solo eso.Me gusta el diseño de la base (4 soportes) y que son abatibles y eso lo hace mas sencillo de mover o transportar de un lugar a otro pues ocupa menos espacio (yo acostumbro sacarlo al jardin).En resumen, es un producto que cumple con lo que promete.

Easy to put together, strong fan, good for the money

I bought this fan during the recent heat wave. It was cheaper than it is now, people must have discovered how well it works. Lol.First off, it was shipped very quickly, which is good because I nearly died from the heat. The assembly was easy and it came with instructions (no tools required).So I set it up, plugged it in, then pushed the button.... immediately I was in a state of bliss.In my feeling of euphoria, I went on Facebook and declared how I had just made the best investment EVER!1. It's amazing for the cost*I was immediately cooled down from the lowest setting. (And it has THREE!)*It's relatively quiet. You do hear that it's on, but it's not loud and bothersome.2. It's easy to move from room to room.*The fan is lightweight, but doesn't feel too cheap. I can easily lift with one had.*The 4 legs can be bent down straight to fit through doors easier (I even do this with my feet). Btw, it's not wider than a door, but my own can only open halfway.Cons =O1. Wide legsI wanted something tall enough to stand by the window and pull air in, which it is, but the legs puts it about 12 inches from the wall. But it is still strong enough to occasionally pull the breeze in.2. Comfort ZONEThe wind is nice, but as soon as it comes off you, you start burning up again. You can feel it well up to about 6-7ft away.3.The tiltIt doesn't tilt down that much. But you could just make the pole shorter.Overall, I think its fantastic for the price.
