Silentia Face Frame soft-close hinge, inset

These hinges were sold as silent close faceframe hinges. If you install them per the instructions they leave a gap of more that 3/8"between the door and the frame. I think they might work if you change the hinge location, but it would take some time and experimentation. Not what I was looking for.
