Comprehensive on coffee
This book is encyclopaedic on the topic of coffee. Excellent pictures. The drawback is that (presumably to keep the price down) the layout is packed and untidy, and the typeface is so small that it makes reading it a bit of an effort. This is a shame, because it is a lovely book for anyone who loves coffee, or is just learning to love it.

Nice but not how to make the perfect coffee.
Maybe I miss read the details but the content wasn't what I expected or was looking for. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely compact hard back book, very well presented and we'll written. But I hoped from the title it would guide in the process of making a perfect cup of coffee... but the book covers mostly the history of coffee and details of growing coffee.... a few pages of different coffee making gadgets and methods but little or nothing of how to perfect the process of making the perfect coffee IE ways to achieve the perfect amount of water at the perfect temperature through the perfect volume of the perfect grind of coffee and what to look for. Sorry, just didn't hit the spot for me.
