The bristles are animal hair, but I don't know what kind. The smell was very strong and unpleasant.

These are intended for use in cooking, so they may not be as sturdy as the ones at the hardware store, and they are also less expensive than the ones you'd probably buy in a hardware store. They're very lightweight.

seems like vinyl, but they all fall off easily and gets into your food.

Q: how long can i get it?

Amazon made a mistake. I can't review this item for you because I have never bought BBQ brushes like that from anywhere. Sorry.
