This product is a great STEM activity for toddlers up to 1st graders. I need to mention our cat finds it fascinating as well. These apples are sturdy plastic that open up to show different counts of seeds. Apples can be used for pretend washing , creating a store, making an apple factory, learning to count and whatever else you and your little one can imagine. The Apple Counting Color Matching Factory also comes with 7 sturdy cards that offer ideas and directions.

I have a 2.5 year old extremely active boy . Teaching him or at least being able to assess what he knows has been a challenge . When I first got these out he loved pulling them apart , then I modeled for him how to find the matching colors - put them together ect . Immediately after he began matching colors and snapping them back together . They snap apart nicely for little hands and go back together easily as well . After he matched all of them he was ready to take them apart and start all over ! I’m excited to move on to numbers once I know he’s mastered all of his colors .Also looking at the pictures I was worried the seeds were loose but they are actually attached and very secure . So far I’m extremely happy with this product.

I'm not gonna lie. I was weirded out by the packaging this came in. It had no reference to the fact this is a counting/color toy and totally focused on the factory idea, which I don't even get tbh. My husband is a lifelong factory man, we're proud of his career, it's vital to the economy, and he makes good money doing it but uuuhhh . . . still not necessarily what we want to steer our grand daughter towards, ya know?Also, she's one. We wanted this for the counting, colors, and apple shapes. Now we're really gonna have to explain our thinking to Mom. Thanks Skoolzy. Lol.

This is a fun learning product that can grow with your child’s mind. What starts out as a simple matching game can grow with your child so they can “think outside the box.” Included with the product are 7 STEM cards to help your child think differently... they can make a wash station, for example, using tissue paper as the water or create a conveyor belt to move apples from one spot to another. This is a product that will grow with your child to increase their learning ability and creative thinking skills, which will be a wonderful benefit they will use their whole life.

This is a wonderful learning toy. The seeds do not come out so there is no choking hazard. The colors are nice and contrasting. I'm only leaving 4 stars because one of the stems on one of the apples broke off. My son uses these with his play food set and with his Step 2 Christmas Tree when it isn't Christmas. The apples fit perfectly in the ornament spots!
