I have always disliked Cherokee for the stiffness/feel of the material and the fit. Most of their men’s scrub tops seem to be too large of a fit, even XS (I’m a small framed short man, 5’5” 130 lbs). However, this scrub top is by far my favorite Cherokee top I’ve worn.In general, the quality of material seems to have improved overall throughout their product line, so it’s not much of a worry at this point. This product seems to shine in the fit. The length seems to be just right, as most feel way too long, and even the fit of the shirt is perfect for my liking. It’s true to size without extra bagging that most seem to have. I am definitely sticking to this one for the long run.(Take note: I prefer my scrubs to be slightly more form fitting than the majority of people. Im a slim man that dislikes baggy clothing, which most men’s scrubs seem to be).

I'm 5'10" and 185lbs with an athletic build; the size large fits great in the chest and back and it tapers at the waist for a nice fit. If you like the tighter fitting top, then go with the Medium, but I found it too tight in the shoulder area. It's a little long at the tails. Other than the length, it's a great fit and built with good quality material. Breathable and comfortable, especially for warmer units. Free returns if you aren't happy with the fitting.

As with many Amazon purchases you have to know EXACTLY what you are ordering. Upon receiving these scrub tops I washed them and hung them and one morning I was dressing for work I realized the scrub tops do not have pockets on the sides!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The scrubs are essentially used for me as a bedside nurses without pockets. This is my fault for not checking more thoroughly. However this is a normal problem when buying online. Who would’ve thought scrub tops don’t have pockets?! I’m done with buying anything online without a model number or reordering something I’m absolutely sure about. Plus is took weeks for these to be delivered. Enjoy my money, I’ll donate these to Goodwill.

Update 11/8/19: Be careful with what seller you buying from. Moved to a different hospital that has us use ceil instead of purple. But when I got my scrub top it does not feel like my purple top and it does not have that Cherokee tag on the front pocket like all other tops of the Professional sets do. For some reason this more recent one I bought the tag was on the sleeve instead of the pocket. Very weird... I have trust issues when buying from non Amazon retailers.Very hard to find purple guy scrubs. And since that is the color my department is assigned in my hospital I have had to endure some pretty poor quality scrubs in this past few years. But this set actually fits and feels good. Highly recommended. Now if only it had a belt loop like my Koi black set it would be perfect.

Material is nice. Sizing chart was, somewhat expectedly, very misleading. For reference, I am 5'6" with a 40 inch chest, 140 lbs. I got a size XS even though the sizing chart suggests I should get a small or medium and I still have plenty of room to move around. The shoulders are spot on where they should be. TLDR - size one or two down
