Q: Will this work for beer can chicken? Will a regular sized aluminum can (12 oz.) fit inside of this rack?

I'm going to let you on a little secret. The beer can chicken really doesn't do anything for me. The beer never really gets hot enough to flavor the chicken. Just use some apple chips, or any other flavor that you like, they will burn off within the first 1/2 hour, and the chicken will be really good. What the holder really does is enable the chicken to cook evenly in the grill. I use a Weber 22", charcoal and a aluminum pan to catch the drippings. My wife and I enjoy it every time. Good Luck

very durable stainless steel, easy cleaning and the base is large enough to be sturdy for holding a chicken vertical.

Q: How do you roast a turkery and what is the oven temp and time?

I only roast/smoke chickens using this roaster. It is to small for a turkey.

Q: Can I use this roaster in order to make a roasted chicken without beer in the oven?

It makes perfect roast chicken without the beer flavoring. Rub chicken with salt and pepper inside and out. You can also baste with melted butter or olive oil before roasting but it's not necessary. Roast chicken at 375 degrees for an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half. Nice touch is to put some lemon quarters and onion quarters into the chicken and hold them inside with the roaster brackets when chicken is placed vertical.
