Aperion Audio DST Dual Firing Air Motion Transformer Ribbon Super Tweeter Speaker Pair (Aluminum Black)

Extremely pleased with how Aperion’s supertweeters added depth and dimension to my existing system. Was able to vastly complement and improve performance of Project bookshelves supplemented by a REL subwoofer ( which was also essential). Front ends comprise Eversolos AMP F2s, a DMP A8 and Cambridge Audio’s CDT. I am a reluctant audiophile but I think with the help of “The Cheap Audioman’s” review of the Aperion’s Supertweeter, I believe I have just assembled a system that is very pleasing. The only caveat is to stay in the enjoyment with well recorded CDs.

We seek the live performance in our home.Paring this product properly with your sound system and equally important the size room and the very important the right subwoofer size and kind.I was really amazed! It exceed my expectation.With a background exposed to musicians and exposed to recording studio and work with sound engineers.This product Aperion Audio Dual Air Motion Transformer Ribbon Super Tweeter Speaker complements well for my needs.Thank you the team of Aperion Audio and the engineers involve in creating this add on item to my audio hifi sound system.If you have Bose 901 series V and VI speakersMake sure you get a nice subwoofer that matches your amp before installing this item alone with it.I know Bose was poorly engineered. Not anymore! With add ons like this item and the right sub for your amp.

Overpriced. Didn’t help much on my audio quality. And after 8 months the left side gave up and doesn’t produce sound anymore. Cannot recommend these.

Make sure you have within a foot or two with a back wall behind your speakers and tweeters lined up with your speaker tweeters. IMO.It didn’t work for me. The direct firing aluminum ribbon super tweeter, the mid priced one, did a much better job for my needs.

Had their other planar ribbon model which are very very nice sounding. However these are true ribbon, dual air motion which means sound is from the front and the back of the enclosure. These in my view are a large step up compared to the lower cost planar model. Again both are very good. Yes these are more expensive but well worth the price. Frankly, buy these, think you will very much be happy, enthralled from the moment the first note is played. All my fav music; jazz, Latin jazz, classical, LG OLED TV audio is like all new again.

I can not even begin to explain how the soundstage comes alive with audio clarity and crispness. I added these into my home theater and I am simply just blown away. These tweeters reveal audio that has been hidden and locked away from me for decades. Watching movies and hearing fidelity audio that is unparalleled on high range frequencies is amazing. Now, when someone fires a weapon in a movie or there is an explosion, just "wow"! What I love even more is how they perform at night where I typically don't want alot of volume or bass, but rather crisp high end on the voice, these speakers have definitely delivered. I have started rewatching many old movies because of these tweeters, you hear sounds that were not there before and revealed to you. These speakers are a bit pricey, to be honest, unless you are a high end audiophile with extra cash, they are a hard swing at $1000 per pair just to cover the high ends. It was more than just high end frequencies and had mid range frequencies, I could maybe justify the purchase price, but for an average Joe consumer these are definitely beyond my price range for just top end highs. I'm sure other people would love to incorporate these tweeters into their home entertainment though. For me, they aren't financially economical. To each his own sound though! They are a masterpiece though, don't get me wrong about that.

This product is a pair of dual audio DST super tweeter’s that are to be used with a speaker set up for TV sound systems or computer speakers set up. The tweeters are made of quality aluminum colored all black with dual firing air motion transformer ribbon which the aluminum enclosure can withstand the fast & loud vibrations perpetrating from the tweeters with its tall rectangular shaped tower that has a functional size & aesthetically pleasing design. Connection from your speakers to these two tweeters are similar in connection as they have the same binding posts which the binding posts are gold plated & can be connected many different ways, bare wire, flat pins, spades, etc. I am looking forward to connecting these tweeters to a superb sound system to enhance the audio & sound quality for a better & more improved listening experience. The price listed for this product is pricey however these tweeters are made of good quality, a smooth turning adjustable treble knob that by just simply turning the knob dial to adjust your listening preference.

Very flexible with controls for volume and crossover frequency. Blended very well with my Acoustat Spectra speakers. Improved detail, high frequency extension and “air”. These are keepers!
