Cast Iron Poffertjes Dutch Pancake Pan with Loop Handles, Preseasoned with Flaxseed Oil, Made in Colombia

This pan worked great right out of the box pre-seasoned. I rinsed and put a small amount of butter and heated before adding batter with a spoon. The first traditional recipe batches turned out great! Cooked evenly and easy to turn with a fork. Nice size to work with. Used handles to turn over above a plate and all came out easily. Quick clean up- ready for the next use. Looking forward to trying savory recipes also.

Absolutely fabtastic! Great quality. Works perfectly. Easy cleaning. Perfect size. Heavy weight. Great price. If properly oiled the balls pop right out without sticking.

This worked perfectly for making poffertjes on Christmas morning at our house. I washed it with mild soapy water before using it, and I did brush a little butter into the divots when it was heated. We have a glass cooktop stove and it heated the pan evenly. We used one of the larger burners. We made our own poffertjes batter with yeast, so it was too thick to pour from a bottle. We scooped it in with a regular sized cookie scoop, which really was too big for one divot, so I have ordered a smaller scoop so the batter will fit in the divots better hopefully, and make them a little neater without overflow of batter. We flipped the little pancakes with wooden skewers and the seasoning worked flawlessly--no sticking to the pan! We loved the yeasty flavor of the little pancakes and the rounded shapes. We probably won't wait until next Christmas to make them!

I was excited to get this pancake pan, however was quickly disappointed by how much the pancakes stuck, making it hard to flip. It is cast iron so it's heavy. I wanted to love this as it adds a fun twist to breakfast, but returned it after trying it out twice, even spraying with oil didn't help.

I haven't had the chance to use the Victoria Cast Iron Poffertjes Pan yet, but I'm really excited to try it! The craftsmanship looks solid, and I love that it's preseasoned with flaxseed oil. The loop handles seem convenient for easy maneuvering. I’ll update my review once I’ve had the chance to use it and see how it performs!

Looks like a great product, but was smaller than what I needed at the time so I returned it. Would make good pancake bites.

Works perfectly. It is made of strong metal, with the perfect size to use over a standard burner (I have a gas burner). If I let it heat enough before using, nothing will stick. It's easy to clean, but you do have to wait for it to cool a while since it concentrates a lot of heat.

Exactly what I expected. Pay attention to the dimensions. They are pretty small divots but I really like using it for mini pancakes.

Heirloom quality, very attractive design. Larger footprint on the stove than the basic round poffertjes irons due to the large handles, but I don't usually use other burners while making poffertjes so it's not an issue and the handles are convenient. Came well seasoned, easy to clean. Casting is perfect texture to hold seasoning, finer casting than other cast iron I have used, but found it did shred paper towel / cloth and required 5mins to prep the surface. Simply scour with coarse steel wool to remove the minute high spots and sharp edges prior to adding a few additional layers of seasoning and it is the best non-stick cast iron I have ever had! Only complaint is that it was loose in a box with another cast iron Victoria product and they were both aesthetically damaged which was disappointing. This is the fault of the warehouse and not the product; I would suggest ordering cast iron products separately if possible!

The pan is well made and cute! I was showing it to someone and off went my pan! She is Dutch and hadn't seen this pan for some time. So I gifted it to her. I would buy it again and will but not show anyone!

Was rusty and used sold as new. Have returned it
