Inexpensive replacement filter
VERY tight fitting. It dropped into the tray, but was a knuckle buster getting the cover to close. Not confident this is fitting correct. Probably will not buy it again.

Been using the filter for a week and there are no issues. Easy diy job that takes less than 10 minutes. The air filter on a CX 9 is located on the right side of the car when you’re facing it. You can tell it’s the air filter because there is a hose shape on one side. All you need to do to open it is loosen the two clamps on the left and lift up the cover. Replace the old air filter with the new one and slide the two tabs on the right in the slots. I had to push down in the lid a little to get the tabs in. Put the clamps back in the lid is flush. Don’t waste your money having a dealer do this.
