I got these to decorate my room, and they do the job well, and look pretty. The only cons are that yes, these do smell once you open them (a fishy odor) and they leave small little pieces that are like green eraser bits behind. Considering the price of these vines, it's really no big deal, just air them up and clean up if they make a little mess. Very good for the price they are. No need to buy $15+ vines, get these.

Can’t decide whether I’m obsessed more with the quality or the low price! Smells a little funky at first but you Don’t notice it after a few minutes. Lights come in a separate package so you have to wrap them around the vines.

Great value for the price, good packaging. I didn’t mind the smell. I used the vines for the outside. But even the ones I have inside don’t smell anymore. 30 minutes (or less) of airing out and you’re good. It’s just the material, all fake leaves smell like that at first, don’t mind it

No strong smell, color vivid and length perfect.As stated above I mixed this ivy with various other ones to create a more diverse look. Let me tell you family and friends thought they were real! And very durable. I wove through the plants and stapled in various areas but even before I stapled them down they were free for 2 months in the wind and rain with no issues.

Lots of faux plant for the money. Looks nice on porch. The faux plant part seems like good quality and it came with ties and everything needed.

My god, these have the most pungent chemical stench. I'm being serious, my daughter opened them up on the other side of the room and we had to open all the windows. She wanted to put them in her bedroom but I won't let her until they can air out- outside- for a couple days and we will see how it goes from there. Anyone else notice this? It cannot be safe.

These vines were pretty nice- I mean obviously not the most luxurious vines you’d ever come across, but they’re pretty nice. They were super easy to hang up, though they did smell pretty terrible at first. We were just about to start hanging up the light and tried to unravel them from their coil, but I found that there were multiple knots in the wire and they were an absolute NIGHTMARE to even try to unravel. Other than that, they’re a pretty nice addition to my room!

These vines were exactly what I needed to decorate my teens rooms.... enough for 2!!! However, there was a fishy smell. I had to lysol them 2x and the oder went away.
