Professional Grade Product
Great filler that can be adjusted for use in various ways for patching hardwood floors. Used this product to fill gaps and knots in a utility grade floor approx 800 sf. It is a quality product for professional use and a great deal for the coverage. Easy to mix in the quantity needed at time of use, and can be stored once mixed in an air tight container so it doesn’t set up. Dries fast, goes on smooth, and sands like wood. Recommend for any hardwood flooring project.

Fills a whole in my life.
Works, but a smaller bag option would be helpful. Instructions on amounts to mix with water could be clearer for smaller amounts needed for the project. Just getting out your calculator and start dividing!

Good Filler
Good stuff. Doesn't go bad on the shelf in your shop or garage like many other fillers. Easy to mix small amounts, sands and looks great.

Great product for paint
Very very good. Can thicken to the consistency you need, easily sandals and paint works great. Not sure about stain.

Meh
Purchased and used on my wood floors I refinished and the wood filler has popped and cracked out in most places within 4-6 months. Looks bad.

uneven stain, some unmixed powder
I used a drill mixer and I still got small crumbs of unmixed product. It looks good in the bucket, but when you go to trowel it, the crumbs break apart and the powder spreads over the floors. No problem, I just trowel over the area a few times. Next issue, uneven stain. Some areas that i patched have a darker stain then the area next to it. It doesn't make sense to me how the same product from the same bag mixed in the same bucket in the same location with the same stain time can have different stain colors. ??? But being able to trowel it is a plus. The raw color did match the wood well. If you plan to just poly on, I am guessing it will work well. Avoid using stains on this.

Easy to use, perfect color match
I bought this wood filler ( White Oak color ) because I was doing a repair and refinish to my hardwood floor. It's easy to mix and the color match is perfect, much better than the original filler used on the floor.

The product is problematic if you are going to stain floors a dark color.
My floors are > 100 years old with large gaps so perhaps this will not be a big deal with newer floors. When staining the floor dark, this product will show through. If there is a way to tint the water with food coloring, that might work. I did a second coat but had to lay the stain on it thickly to hide it. A day and a half later, the stain is still tacky. This stain will be great for a light-colored floor. Easy to mix and work with and sand for this novice.
