I have to say that I wasn't expecting a lot for the price but was pleasantly surprised with the quality of material and workmanship, although I've only worn them once on a 140 mile mostly motorway ride, so far.So can't comment on the longevity. Safety aspect may be more suited to off rather than on road but I felt confident enough, wearing them. Were certainly warm enough at 7-10 degrees at 70 to ?? mph. Didn't get wet and generally try to avoid rain (and cold) anyway, but they feel as though they would keep you dry. I'm size 30-31" w x 33" leg so I bought 32", ok but feel a bit baggy so could have gone for 30" w, also, another inch on leg length would have been nice so they would be less prone to ride up/off my short boots but not too bad. I have slightly long legs for my waist size so I'm used to it? So anyway, happy with the pants and if any unexpected catastrophe's occur (with the pants) I'll add them to review. Well done, if you got this far, I try not to write too many reviews, for obvious reasons?
