This is really nice! We were looking for a compact yet comfortable chair for a reading nook, and this is the perfect for solution to that. It's padded enough to be comfortable, but sturdy enough to give you some support. It fits my husband (or my dog) well, but doesn't take up a lot of room - certainly less than the recliner we had in that spot before. The fabric is a great, neutral gray that goes along with our other furnishings, and it looks like it will hold up well to regular use. Perhaps not as well as some of the chairs we browsed at furniture stores, but definitely nice for an online purchase.It arrived in a VERY large box, and the delivery man wouldn't leave until I confirmed that I was home to accept it. Assembly was straightforward and quick - it comes with the swivel base and the upholstered top. I love that this spins a little so that my husband can fidget while he reads. It doesn't recline, but I didn't expect it to, so that's not an issue. Overall, I like it a lot!

Stylish, Well Made, Easy Assembly
This is a stylish chair. The “charcoal” fabric looks like the Amazon photo. It is a synthetic woven fabric that looks & feels durable. The upholstery is not perfect on my chair - a very slight rumple in the middle of the front, lumbar area, on one side. The back is upholstered in the same fabric.The chair has a VERY firm seat, back, arms, etc. I like the firmness but my husband thinks it’s too firm. The lumbar support feels really good especially when sitting with my feet on an ottoman. It turns a full 365 & then snaps back to the original position on its own. It does not recline – I wish it reclined.It arrives in a very large box. Assembly is very simple. You attach 4 screws to a plate on the bottom of the upholstered chair, place the turn mechanism in the base & then set the chair on the base – done. An Allen wrench & the bolts are included so you don’t need any other tools. They include 1 extra bolt just in case.We had a bit of an issue with the fabric covering one of the bolt holes so needed to snip it away & then melt it with a flame so it doesn’t tear out. It was not a difficult task.

Easy to assemble
It does not rock but only swivels. Easy to assemble. Great charcoal bluish color. Non-shiny base. More aluminum color than stainless. On a comfort level I’d give it a 7 if 10 is perfect. It’s a firm seat. It’s great as a side chair and I’d buy it again.
