I like the edge this can opener gives the cans. Very smooth so can't cut your hands.

I have an older can opener whose plastic is cracking and this is a replacement opener. It does the job, but requires more force than the old (starting to fail) opener. It requires more force and the shape of the handle is not as good as the old one. Will keep it because the old one will not last.

I purchased a similar one a few years back and we love it. My husband faithfully used it daily to open the canned dog food. This year as a stocking stuffer I got him his own separate one to keep with the dog food so he doesn’t have to keep coming up and grabbing it from the kitchen utensil drawer. He LOVES it, says he likes it better than the first one. Good product , works well.

It works! For 30 years or more, I have had two brands of safety can openers. One brand (the first one of its kind) does not have a long lifespan and finds different ways to break after a few years daily use. The other is a workhorse. Both require the traditional squeezing together of 2 handles. This one you just set on the top of the cane, start twisting the handle and it works! I don't know how. Now, I've only done 1 can but it was amazing.

I have tried using this on a couple of cans and it won't even grab hold to start a cut; only dents the rim where I try to start. I've looked at the video thinking I'm using it wrong, but I'm not. It just doesn't work.

Was supper cheap and had it for months. No issues do far. Like the fact it cuts tthe rim. so no bleeding finger tips and can keep in can for a few days,

Love the idea, using it was great but the plastic housing the metal hand crank snapped off after a few months of use on a regular 15oz can (cold water washing, immediate dry and put away) improvements could be made to make this an outstanding kitchen staple
