Really strong
I bought 2 pairs of these for a tool box on a Ford f350 super duty. The lid I was ordering for was very heavy. After replacing the first strut the lid stayed up on its own. Very happy with my purchase

Functionality
Easy to install. Replacing worn struts on my tool box lids. These perform well, but I should have purchased ones that have a higher rating, maybe 60 lb instead of 40 lb. They worked well until it got cold in the garage. When cold they won't hold the tool box lid up. It was too late to return by then. This is a good product and the pricing is in line for similar products. I'll buy them again when these totally give out, but I know to buy the stronger ones next time. Lesson learned.

The shipping was a little later than promised.
It turns out that they were too long and I needed to return them. Amazon told me to pay the freight to return them and then the company said the was a return/restocking charge. Returning them would cost more than their value.

Incorrect guide
My cap Leer needs a 12" 24 lbs shock. Their guide said their shock would fit. It is 24 lbs. It is 12", but the body of the shock is 7.75", mine is 6.75" I could not close my cap because their shock bottoms out too soon. Using my shock tag number and serial number with their guide. Is how I chose the wrong shock.
