Floor is finally ACTUALLY CLEAN!
I did a TON of research and finally settled on this mop and I'm so glad I did. I wanted something commercial quality, not too expensive, sturdy, and without a bunch of disposable waste. Also was looking for a large mop head surface to make things just go a little bit quicker. I have laminate wood look floors throughout the house that have a lot of texture and could never get them really really clean. I would inevitably have to wipe some spill with a clorox wipe soon after mopping only to see a yucky brown handprint on the wipe. So gross! Did I even mop at all??! Here's my method -- I vacuum first, then sprayed a pH neutral cleaner (I use Ecolab brand from Home Depot) all over the floor, let it sit a couple minutes, mop it up with a damp cloth, rinse the cloth in the sink and ring it out, mop again, then go over the floor with a dry cloth. I can run a clorox wipe over the floor when I'm finished and the wipe is absolutely white. Not kidding. We've got 5 people in a smaller house with 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 ferrets, everyone running in and out a zillion times a day. I've tried the no shoes in the house rule but it's not a hill I'm gonna die on. The mop head is large but still easy to manage and maneuver around furniture. The microfiber seems to magically get into all the little grooves in the flooring and the edge of the cloth hangs over the mop head just enough to get up on the quarter round moulding a little bit and get that clean too. The little mechanism for getting the cloth on and off is genius and so easy to use. The cloth didn't slip even a little bit, wet or dry. I had zero issues with the mop head flipping over or the handle slipping or bending. I think I'll try it dry to dust the walls with it next. This thing is a game changer! I would give it 100 stars if I could!

The cleaning pads are good quality and there's even pressure across the surface of the mop head
After the first use of this mop I gave it a four-star because I couldn't get the handle tight so it would stay in one length I finally was able to get the handle tight and I've used it several times and it is awesome. I have tile floor, and why I bought white tiles with faint Gray Smoky pattern is beyond me because I live in a barn that has red dirt. Regular mops or sponge mops with ring the muddy dirt out of the mop as I pulled it across the grout lines, so I've been cleaning my floor with paper towels for 4 years. Not anymore This pad is wide enough that I can take the edge and clean the grout ones and it does it squeeze the water out as it goes across the grout lines. It's very absorbent I have two spray bottles one with the cleaner in it and one with clean water I clean one area with the cleaning solution and change the pads and spray clean water clean up the solution. When I was using paper towels I had to dry the floor or you could see the streaks With this mop, I do not have to dry the floor because the pad does not leave streaks. I highly recommend this product.

Overall, a great mop!
I want to point out that this is my first ever product review because I usually don't care enough to submit one. I either like a product, or I find something else to replace it. I did extensive research into this type of mop, and I am very happy with the result. So happy, it led me to write this review. I have a large dog who sheds a lot, and I am stunned at the amount of hair this thing picks up even after sweeping (I tested it when I first bought it - I don't need the broom very much anymore). This mop is great at getting under furniture and is awesome for a big room. I cut my sweeping time down to 1/4 of what I was spending sweeping with a regular broom, and I don't have to worry about stirring up dust or hair into the air for it to then land back on the floor or my furniture. As far as using it as a wet mop, I saw a lot of reviews stating that people's handles were breaking within a few uses. Mine has not broken, but I think I have an idea about why this is happening. The telescoping feature of the handle allows you to fully extend the mop, but you have to be careful not to overextend it. I think what is happening is people are extending it to the very end, causing a weak point in the handle. When you use a lot of force, then the handle could break. I suggest collapsing it just a tad to make sure that there isn't a weak point in the handle. Also, I have seen complaints about the handle retracting easily while using it. Mine has done that, but it was always due to me not tightening it enough after extending it (you can twist it to make it easier to extend or retract.) I have seen other complaints that the mop flips, especially when using it as a wet mop. I have also experienced this; however, I only experienced it when the spray was drying on the floor. At that point, it wasn't cleaning anyway due to lack of cleaner, so I sprayed more cleaner on the ground and the problem was solved. One thing I don't like about this mop is that I cannot effectively use it in tight spaces, so I have resorted to sweeping or vacuuming my bathroom floor and using a regular mop to clean it. I haven't looked into it, but if they made a smaller mop head version of this just for bathrooms and other tight spaces, I would absolutely buy it. Another thing I don't like about it (along the same lines) is that it is hard to clean corners, so I usually use a broom once I'm done and get whatever corner(s) still have dirt in them. Maybe some people would be deterred by that, but it really isn't a problem. It takes seconds to do that. I have used this as a wet and dry mop many times over the last couple of months and have no complaints other than what I mentioned above. I hope this helps. This really is a great little mop. It saves time and is way easier than the traditional bucket and mop, making it a lot easier to keep up with my floors.

Great dust mop, but issues attaching the handle.
Great dust mop that makes the job easier and more effective, but I had issues attaching the handle... it separated from the mop head several times during my first use.

Better than disposable floor mop sleeves
Love this microfiber mop. Lightweight. Can reach under furniture. I wet the microfiber with plain water and slide it onto the flip holders on each side of the mop flat head which holds it in place nicely. Really gets my tile floors clean with easily. It doesn't drag. Once it is soiled, just remove it and run under faucet to remove debris and put it back on. Pads are good quality microfiber and machine washable. Just wash with other microfiber towels so doesn't pickup fibers from bath towels. Read that on brochure. The mop hands easily in my utility room. This is my second one. Gave my first one to my neighbor for her new luxury vinyl floors and she loved it so much, she paid me for it. My sister bought one too! Highly recommend. Good value for the price. It is aluminum handle and a good quality industrial plastic mop head which folds flat when you store it.

I highly recommend you to buy this Mr. Saga mop.
I guess it's time I give a review of this mop. I've purchase mine in November 2021. It's December 2025 and I'm still using the same microfiber mop that I purchased in 2021. The rod is the best one I've ever had. I can proudly compare it with any other brands. I've purchased replacement microfiber cloth but the rod is really strong. In terms of cleaning power it's 100%. It is easy to assemble and it's worth the money.

LOVE THIS MOP!!!!
I love this mop. I knew I would when I first saw it. I live in a charming old house with hardwood floors and an old kitchen tile floor. Those of you of a certain age may well remember your mother or grandmother having to strip and wax their kitchen floor. Well, me too! I don't like sponge mops. I find them almost impossible to keep clean and they are bacteria magnets. I also try not to use disposable applicators to be more earth friendly and financially wise. This helps in all that. To clean, I simply spray a cleaner on the floor and wipe it off with this. Same idea of a wet Swiffer, but with better results, lots cheaper, and more earth friendly -- no pad to toss. To wax, once I've cleaned the floor, I pour some liquid sealer and spread it with this lovely, easy to use, wide base. It works on both wood and any type of tile. When I finish cleaning, I simply rinse the mop pad until clean. When I wax, I rinse and then toss it in the washer. Is it perfect? No. The one thing that you need to learn is how to keep the mop pad side down. Often as I pull it back towards me, the movable head allows it to flip over with the mop pad side up. Simply lifting and putting it back down on the service fixes that. After a while I've gotten better in not letting that happen at all. You get the "feel" of it. It applies wax for hardwood or tile floors evenly. It cleans efficiently. And you are not constantly buying disposable pads and/or batteries for your wet spray type of device. Thumbs up!

Sliding pole solution!
Faulty pole solution! I have been using Mr Siga products for years, even though I have Norwex products, Mr Siga, in my opinion is far better overall. This mop is the best of all mops. But there is a problem with the pole. The pole extends, but seems to slide down when applying pressure while mopping. Well, my solution is to carry rubber bands and put a rubber band between the pole and the blue plastic section that is supposed to secure that it stays in place. I have several of these mops because I clean houses, so these mops have the same problem. I’m not complaining at all! They are still worth purchasing for the superior quality of the mop itself. The mop heads are just the best. The poles are sturdy. The first one I bought ten years ago and still use it at home. The company should either redesign the pole, or supply a round rubber or silicon type of band to secure the pole from sliding down. But until then, the rubber band solution works perfectly fine for me. I’ll continue to use Mr. Siga products.
