Women’s Satin Charmeuse Tailored Tanktop camisole, Black, Large

This camisole was worn by our granddaughter with her Homecoming suit. It fit as sized and was a good purchase.

light and comfy under a sweater or any top

I ordered this camisole to wear under low-cut tops and blouses to prevent over-exposure. The new fabrics of camisoles are mostly jersey and tight polyester (think spanx), which is too heavy and hot under silk blouses - and are too constricting for a large busted female. I wanted a very lightweight, breathable camisole like they used to make back in the day. This fabric is mid-weight, and will be OK underneath other articles of clothing. It has a nice silky feel, and will not cause blouses to cling. Like other reviewers, the neck opening is a scoop, not a V, and the narrow shape of the scoop does cause it to gap a little on each side. Luckily I sew and can fix the issue with a couple of darts. The bottom flares out slightly, it does not fall straight down. The color is not bright white, but a cream color. Overall I am happy with it - but I wish it were available in a light mocha color that does not draw attention.

The fit is odd on this top. The bust was small and the arm he to large. Very strange. Wish I returned this one.

Nothing wrong with the product, other than the size. My wife has always worn size large in camis, but this one is way too big. Armholes are especially large as other reviewers have commented. We're exchanging it for a medium.Amazon makes the return process so easy that I'm still giving this a 4 star review, and if the medium fits as we expect, we'll order two more in black and ivory (this one was white). Happy with the quality of the product for the price ($16). We're used to paying much more for the Farr West camis, but can't find them anymore.

So happy to find this item that I used to buy at a now closed department store chain. Just the same as always!

I love the satin fabric. I wish they made it in a V neck.

Nice, well made, good material, the seams are sewn well. No seams in the front so I anticipate it will not be obvious under clothes. My only complaint is that the arm holes, on the under arm area, are rather large. They are not tapered and they gap (pucker) out. I'll have to see how it works and I may have to put in a dart or take in the seam just under the arm hole. But, even if you don't sew, I believe it will work well, even with the gap.
