To me this a great choice for vitamin C. It never gets me any heartburn nor any lingering aftertaste. And I like the large bottle which is easy to open and close.

Buffered vitamin C received was as described and matched my previous purchase from health food store.

High doses of vitamin C have been proven to help with a wide range of health issues, including cancer -- seriously, do some YouTube & Google research -- there are some amazing studies with equally amazing results! At any rate, my husband just turned 50 and has perfect BP and labs and doesn't take any prescription meds. He had a suspicious mole removed about a month ago (family Hx of melanoma, so he's very diligent about regular check-ups). Well, this one came back positive (in situ, though, so they got it all in the initial biopsy). He complained a little about my insistence that he start taking these daily, but he does take them! I think the recommended minimum dose is 1-2 tabs daily, but I give him 3 (for now -- haha), in addition to a vitamin D3 tab. So 4 pills. If I put them out for him, he remembers to take them, so it's a small hassle for good preventive medicine. I bought the buffered to ensure that he takes them knowing he won't have stomach issues or heartburn, and I like that I can get 1000mg per tab so he doesn't have to take a bunch to get a good dose. Let me also just add a little pearl of wisdom that we both kinda learned the hard way: don't take vitamin C at night. It is a stimulant of sorts and can keep you awake! However, I will also say that since he doesn't take any other meds, he tends to be more sensitive to anything he actually does take. This seems to be a good brand and I've heard no complaints!

Country Life is my go-to vitamin brand. I think they were wise to buffer this high dose offering.

These buffered vitamin C tablets were excellent for the price. I had stopped taking C for a while because I had serious gastric issues last year and didn't really know about the buffered aspect. My immune system is somewhat compromised after a couple of surgeries and several procedures and I felt it was time to come back to C. These do not upset my stomach at all and I am taking 2000 mg daily. I don't think I am imagining that I feel a bit better for taking them. The only problem that arises is that these tablets are quite large and even though they are coated, you need to be a good swallower to get them down. I have other tablets to take and take them all at one time, but I take these one tablet at a time. Nothing worse that getting a pill caught in your throat or not going down right. All in all, these are great value and I will continue to take them.
