Planted them the day I received them. I already had germination in 24 hours. Planted eight and eight germinated. Great product and definitely hadn't been sitting on the shelf for too long.

I consider radishes one of my vegetable garden secret weapons and will always welcome more variety into my garden, even though I'm only a moderate fan of radishes for eating. Why?Because they germinate FAST, are ready to harvest in just WEEKS, and they're so small you can tuck them in between larger plants like tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant without overcrowding your garden. Plant a small patch every two weeks and you'll have an endless supply! That makes them perfect for getting more out of your limited space.Which brings us to this assortment. Excellent price for an even better variety! Champion and Cherry Belle are standards in my garden, but stuff like French Breakfast and White Icicle are new to me. I'm delighted to add them to my roster! It's great to experiment without spending a lot of money.And since these are non-GMO heirloom seeds, guess what? You can let one or two of your plants go to seed each time and give yourself an endless supply of new seeds, too! Great!I've already germinated some of these and expect to be eating potentially as soon as Labor Day Weekend. Nice!Big thumbs up from this avid gardener!

Even though I am not a big fan of eating radishes, I still like trying to grow them. 5 varieties are represented here, including the more unusual watermelon radish (the main reason I ordered this pack). Cherry Belle and Champion are your standard supermarket radishes. I see French Breakfast available often too. White Icicle, even though it looks like a daikon, is not the same thing.Fall is the right time to plant radishes. The leaves are nutritious and edible cooked or raw, so don't throw them out. Heirloom seeds mean that you can let some of the plants go to seed and collect them to grow for the next season. Heirloom varieties grow true to type, unlike hybrids.

We consume a lot of radishes and have been growing them successfully since spring and now is time to plant for fall crops, staggering the plantings a week or so apart so we have a continuous supply of maturing radishes. This selection of radishes is excellent for a good variety of both the radishes themselves and the greens, which we eat, cooked with ramen noodles.These all grow rapidly so a crop comes in quickly and with dependable maturing, we can schedule the plantings accurately. Very affordable with near 100% germination rate.

The varieties of these radishes are perfect! I love that there are so many different types, and I am already very familiar with the brand, so I know the germination will be great as well. Most of the time, there is no expiration on your seed packets, but I'm glad that these came with them since they're pretty important to me. That being said, I am really looking forward to planting these next spring and I know that they will be an excellent addition to my garden! Especially looking forward to the watermelon radish!

This five-variety set of Radish Seeds comes packaged in a resealable mylar bag. This is a nice variety of seeds. 'Days to maturity' ranges from 21-55, so this is immediate-gratification gardening. Radish roots and leaves are known to be great for health (for most people). The description says 'non-GMO-open pollinated-non-hybrid'. The seed packets are labeled 'packed for 2021-2022'.

What a great assortment. And for the price, you really can't beat this. Watermelon radishes often go for about $4.99 a packet (all by themselves!) so to get an assortment like this is such a good deal. We love radishes and they grow SO QUICKLY so it's totally worth it to stock up. Obviously I haven't had time to grow these from seed yet and will report back if they are duds.
