I purchased this pen as a prop for my work registering marriages. I was surprised with the quality of the pen. It is heavy and looks expensive. It comes in a nice tin. It is not used to write with as it is just used in photos but it looks very classy and is perfect for those shots of the happy couple signing the ‘register’.

I now have 4 of these pens with different colour inks in each one. Really nicely weighted to sit in the hand comfortably when using. Nice and smooth ink flow and nibs. So nice, especially for the price!!!

Nice looking pen, good value for money. Didn’t write a smoothly as I would like. Draws a very thin line. I bought it for my husband and it came in a nice box. He loves it.

Have bought it as a gift for my daughter, she loves it. Worth the price.

I have over fifty fountain pens now and the Inkwell Fountain pen must be without doubt the worst pen I have purchased, it took my full force to engage the cartridge with the nib and ultimately having to resort to the point of a pair of pointed scissors to finally engage the cartridge with black ink over myself, having a preference for blue ink in all of my pens didn’t help. So having resorted to a black cartridge I decided to use the pen, “Excellent Quality “ if that’s what they call excellent north of Watford Gap I will stay in Dorset, okay I’ve got many many fine nib pens but I haven’t had the unfortunate displeasure of using such a scratching pen in my collection, the English need to take a lesson or ten from the Chinese on how to make a Quality Fountain Pen before they call it a Quality pen, my Waterman, Cross, and even Dryden fountain pens can show you brummies how to build a Quality fine Fountain Pen. I am so disappointed that we’re not able to build an easy nib for a Fountain Pen but I’ve learned not to buy British.

Really nice pen, comes in a nice presentation box which is a nice touch. Great price for what you get, tried more expensive pens which aren’t as good. Comes with an ink cartridge too, unlike many others so you can start using this straight away. Overall very happy with quality and price!
