EdeaLace Strap for Figure Skates

These have improved the way my skates feel and the needed tightness. I switched from Jackson to Edea so I was used to being able to really tighten my skates at the top. Edea skates work differently so I’ve been having trouble getting used to and breaking into the skates but they has have helped me very much.

For Edea skates in particular. Edea’s have very wide ankles but these little tough but stretchy addition allows you to skate without interruption. Highly recommend.

I purchased these to use with my Risports since I wanted to hold my laces securely and not have to put my leggings over my boots. These work well for that purpose, but are pretty expensive for what they are, to be honest.

These have definitely helped. For some reason my right skate always came loose into the session. I put them on the top hooks although it says to put them on the second ones. They are hard to get off though. Maybe it’s because they’re so new. I only gave 4 stars as I thought they are over priced but they work!

Lets face it, Edea laces and the lacing method stink. They do not stay tight and constantly need to be retied, regardless of your tying technique. (Although the Edea Fluo laces stay tied slightly better than the normal cotton ones). This lace strap helps keep the laces tight and secure, and I do notice a big difference with my laces staying tighter for longer. My only gripe is the cost. 10$ for the strap + 10$ for the Edea “brand” name. I can’t speak to how long this lace strap elastic will hold up, but it’s been a few months now and so far the strap still holds tight and secure. I highly recommend!

USPS was really late. Received it in a well package envelope and a small gift was also included. THANK YOU! Edea strap is a great idea to cover the laces. The holes are small. But, will break in once used. We drilled the hole to a bigger size and it fits perfect. May not work on other brand skates as the hooks on the skates need to be longer.

My child needed these to cover her skate laces while taking a MITF skating test. I needed them asap and they fast! Edea is a great brand and this shipper was super speedy!
