A great alternative to the insane OEM prices. The cartridge fits my HP 1018 perfectly. The print is crisp, dark, even density, and doesn't smudge. I don't know how many pages it will print, however. Be careful not to accidentally touch the roller when installing - the oil from your fingers) will cause the print in some areas to be smudged. Some say to wipe the roller with isopropyl alcohol on the spots you touched. Others say wear lint-free gloves when installing it. I ran about a dozen sheets through and the smudging disappeared.

The cartridges fit my HP 1020 perfectly. However, the first cartridge had a three-inch section of faint text printing. I shook the cartridge and repeated this a few times. It made no difference. The second cartridge printed fine for about 75 pages, then started to blur all text. I would never recommend purchasing this junk.

Prints are like with HP cartridge and I seem to be getting about the same life.

This toner doesn't give as deep a black as any of the other replacement cartridges I've used in the 15 years I've had my current HP Laserjet printer. Passable for casual use.
