Amazing little fridge.
Only had it for a week but so far I'm thrilled with it. Delivery was right on time and not one single mark, scratch or dent. Started right up, no noise whatsoever and today it made my day. My Klondike bar was frozen and not a bit soft. Great price too. Now it's not a kitchen fridge, shouldn't expect it to be, but it's absolutely perfect for a bedroom fridge. I couldn't be happier with it, and once again, Amazon & Black and Decker came through for me. UPDATE: Going on 4 months and my opinion has not changed. This Black & Decker little fridge is awesome. I CAUTION you tho if you jerk the door open, everything in the door is coming out, ready or not. Just use common sense when opening the door. It happened once and I learned a lesson. That would not hinder me from buying it again tho or for a gift to someone. UPDATE: 1/2022 Hot glued the little bars on the door shelves so no more falling food when you open the door.

Perfect for a shop fridge
Exactly what I needed at work. It looks like it could hold a 24 pack of 12oz cans. I use it to hold 1ltr of water in the door and 15 pack of 16oz Monster Energy drinks. It gets cold, nearly silent. It's small so it doesn't take up much space. There was no damage in shipping, even to the box. The black matches the top of my toolbox and cabinet, so it blends right in. The freezer works great too! The miniature ice cube tray is great for ice once a day.

works for what I need it for
this fridge arrived in great condition. I needed something for my room for my Insulin and drinks. it works great for keeping everything cold. the only 2 cons in my opinion is the freezer part, I put 3 oreo icecream cones in and within 24 hours I ate one and it was all melted inside(I had the temp on 5). so I put temp to highest at 7 and tried again, another 24 hours later it was melted inside again. it claims in the manual to consume any frozen items in five days but it couldn't even keep an icecream cone frozen for a day. the second con is the door bars, they dont lock in so I super glued them in but still if you put small items in the door they will still fall out. other than those 2 cons its perfect, works for what I need it for. I normally store 10 12oz diet Pepsi cans on the bottom along with 4 boxes of insulin and on top shelf I put 7 16oz water bottles. very convenient for the middle of the night.

The best mini fridge .
Am writing this review almost 6 yrs later. This mini fridge is like gold , I bought it for my room to have my cold beverages with me in my room for when am not sleepy . 6 yrs later itโs like I just bought the little fridge . Thereโs nothing I can say enough about this mini fridge, I have no complaint you donโt even hear it working . I never expect it to be as good as it is . Black& decker is the way to go ๐ฏ

not cool
I kept finding water (or condensation) in the fridge, and often times spoiled food. After much research on what level to have the temp dial on, I finally bought a thermometer. No matter what "number" the dial is on, the fridge doesn't get cool enough. Water is cool enough, but food will spoil every time. Too late to send back. When I buy another to replace it, it wont be this brand.

Very poor use of space
**Update 5 November 2021 -- ~18 months of ownership** The thermostat has croaked. I used this as a work refrigerator for my office. I kept lunch meat and cheese and some vegetables for snacking in it. I returned after a weekend to find it all warm inside. I tested the outlet and cord. No problem. I tested the thermostat by turning it off and on. It would work for 10 minutes then shut off. This product is garbage. I'm taking the 2 star down to to 1.** I had a Frigidaire mini fridge in college the same cubic feet size as this Black & Decker. It was a marvel of efficient use of space. I could fit a 30 pack of "beverages" in it, my compact Brita filter and several miscellaneous snacks all with no problem. The opposite is true of this product. The compact Brita filter cannot fit without taking out the upper shelf, thus effectively halving your usable space. I finally "solved" this issue by keeping the shelf and storing the Brita filter itself outside of the refrigerator and pouring the filtered water into bottles that I lay horizontal to cool them. It's a hassle and quite frankly, the result of stupid design on the part of the engineers at Black & Decker. There's only one slot in the door that allows items taller than a standard 12 oz. aluminum can to be stored upright. If it was not such a bother, I would return this mini-fridge and get one that used its limited space much more efficiently. Other than that MAJOR issue, it does cool well and there have been no other problems. Also, I will note that generally I have had great experience with Black & Decker products. I have almost their entire line of 20v lithium power and yard tools that I consistently use and love. This mini-fridge has been the only stinker I've purchased from the brand.

I love this fridge
This fridge is amazing. I got this because my roommates like to drink my stuff, and also eat snacks that I like. I put a whole 12 pack of Dr pepper in it, 12 nitro coffees, and a whole case of bottled water, with room. The beer fits in this also even the bottle kind, tallboys fit also. The freezer part with the ice cubes really works, there are different levels that the fridge can be on, I have mine on 6 and it's really cold but it can go up to 7. I also started to keep some half and a half in it because I like to make tea in my room. It is super quiet also, I don't even notice that there is a fridge in here. It also has a nice place for butter or maybe chocolate. You can definitely put a couple of popsicles in the freezer part also. If your on the fence about this fridge, just buy it and you won't regret it. I decided to set up a mini kitchen in my room with a microwave, kettle, and electric skillet. Really great edition if you want to be a hermit in your room.

Sailboat with 30 Amp shore power
I got this for my sailboat beacause I don't want to eat out because of the pandemic. I couldn't be happier. The door was super easy to reverse. I was able to get 6 burger patties and the ice cube tray that came with the fridge in the freezer together. It's super cold. I have it set at 5 (of 7). Any higher and the orange juice freezes a little. The main attraction is the energy usage. 30 amps isn't that much in the power department (3600 watts max) and I'm able to charge my phone, run lights, heat and a coffee pot while the fridge is plugged in without any issues. It's gonna stay on the boat. I should have bought something like this years ago. I've wasted so much leftover smoked salmon dip over the years. Well, no more. The prevailing logic for boats, vans and RVs has shifted toward residential fridges for a number of reasons: they get colder: they don't have expensive parts: they don't break down as often: and they are overall much cheaper. This little fridge will run great on battery power when I'm underway. I don't anticipate any issues. It's small enough that I'll be able to build it into the salon on the boat -- that will protect it better from the saltwater air. If I remember, I'll post an update in a year.

interestingly the box arrived in a fairly sturdy styrofoam packed box but it didn't have a cardboard ...
beer is cold!! no real issues; i reversed the door and the plastic plug broke; interestingly the box arrived in a fairly sturdy styrofoam packed box but it didn't have a cardboard bottom.....it had been retaped with packing tape, which made me wonder how it had been handled but so far things are fine
