Excellent replacement part.
Bought this for my daughter's 2010 BMW 118d as the start/stop had stopped working and the fault code indicated that the brake servo pressure sensor had failed. I thought it was a gamble as the BMW replacement part was so much more expensive, however after taking the chance this replacement part worked perfectly. As soon as the part was fitted the start/stop warning message disappeared and start/stop once again worked. I highly recommend this part if you have a similar issue.

Worked perfectly for BMW X1 E84 2016
Tricky to fit due to access, but fixed start/stop issue. Local garage had claimed fault was down to relatively recently fitted Exide AGM battery and wanted to fit a new Bosch one which would have been a waste of money.

It worked! Error gone
After googling and finding many people with the same stop/start error I purchased this suggested part. I was sceptical that the part costing less than a fifth of the genuine part price would work. My stop/start still doesn't work, but the error on my Mini has gone and everything else works fine, so I'm very happy with that. A garage repair would have cost hundreds of pounds for a tiny plastic widget. The actual repair does require removing wipers and part of the trim, but otherwise was simple to unplug and replace. If you're confident with that, go for it.

Does Not Work - Waste of Money
got this for my e90. installed from garage and it still did not remove the error code or fix the stop start fault!Now need to get genuine part and pay labour for install again. Don’t make the same mistake as me! Buy genuine part first time!

Did the job
BMW want 153 + vat for this!! Fixed the stop/start warning light on my 118D Msport. Easy to get old one off,fitting new one requires patience and/or very small hands and octopus arms🤣🙈. 2 screwdrivers and a torch did it for me. Still only an hour all told. Highly recommended....the part...not fitting it
