Worked Great
Broke the tip of my rod and after much consternation I bought this (also after going to my local Big Five and not finding something similar). Worked well enough, glue seems very good and solid so I don't have any complaints.

Not for a Saltwater Rod
These are definitely to small for a saltwater rod. I should have measured my rod end diameter, but still a deceiving tile. I am satisfied that the company just told me to keep them instead of the hassle to ship back.

Easy fix for an older rod
The pack of three tips, with what amounts to hot glue, was a good solution for me, and it was very reasonably priced. I had read the reviews about size and double checked to see if one of these would fit my rod, a 10 or 11 foot surfing rod. The largest tip fit well. It shouldn't be too hard to check the end of your rod to see what it's diameter is. You should be sure the tip you want to use is larger. Installing the tip was easy, and there was nothing tricky about it.
