The quality of the plastic and the length of the item is as described, but in the end the problem with this product is that 1: The camera attachment is not reliable and 2: The rotation of the selfie stick means that even with a small GoPro attached to it, the top part of the stick rotates. This also means that sometimes the part that the camera is attached to will automatically unscrew itself resulting in the camera falling off the edge of the stick. If you had that stick over the edge of a cliff, balcony, or over water that means that you just lost your camera. With some modification of this item this can be solved (I used some tape), but at the core, this selfie-stick is not reliable.

I used this to make my YouTube videos and when paired to other equipment, it can really hold itself steady.
