Didn't look attractive on my kitchen sink, which is on me. When I pressed the top to dispense soap, it would literally suck the soak back in, requiring multiple pumps culminating on banging on the top. Then it failed. Would not recommend

The jar itself has decorative relief that is more attractive than typical mason jars. The pump and lid seem to be a good quality (appear attractive in materials and finish, and pump action works great-no clogging so far). Was packaged well and arrived quickly. I like it a lot. The reason I gave it four stars is it feels a little over priced for what I'm estimating to be the cost of the raw materials. I have the impression it's a huge mark up, but they pull off a nice product that I'm happy with.Updated review after five months: I changed my 4 stars to 2... the pump part is somehow glued onto the metal lid of the mason jar, and five months after purchase the glue had deteriorated and the pump is no longer secured to the lid. As a result, if you try pumping, it will slide around on the lid, which then makes it very hard to control the amount of soap dispensed, and can even knock the thing over as you're trying to push down on the pump. I tried to fix it myself, first by making a circular bead of a silicon epoxy on the lid, then pressing the pump on top of the silicon bead. That didn't work at all. Then I tried using rubber cement, which also didn't work. Right now this thing is not functional. I'm going to contact the seller to see if they can tell me what type of glue they use to attach this (metal to metal), but I'm not hopeful that I can fix it. If the manufacturer is reading this, please consider a different design, such as using a gasket and screwing the pump into the lid, so that it will hold up over time.

Super cute and totally perfect for my soap dispenser! One side of the chalkboard label has the company name and on the other side I used a chalk marker to write the scent of the soap. I have found comparable products at local home goods stores but none compare to the quality of this one. For example, a similar item that I've recently found does not contain the quality of the lid and pump as the pump straw was not constructed well too snugly fit the pumping mechanism and the lid metal was a very thin aluminum. However, with the Country Pear soap dispenser the pump construction with the straw fits snugly and secure and the lid seems to be much more durable. I definitely recommend this product to others!

This is the cutest sturdiest product. i broke two other types recently and was in need. it is so well made,and i like its jaunty look--i put dish soap in it --green as grass--and I am so happy. i know this will NOT break down for years--it is a well-constructed jar and pump. Good on these dear people who make and sell this--they seem REAL" to me. I like supporting the "little-r" guys in this world,since we are so surrounded by the MASSIVE. Not that I don't use Amazon of course.i am pretty well-balanced,but ..well,enough said. Go for it if you are looking for something of value.

I needed a new soap dispenser for our kitchen, and after searching through the brushed metal options I came upon this one. Also being a big fan of Mason jars already, this product was better than what I had imagined finding. I ordered and package was on my steps in 36 hours. I was at work and my fiancée called me when it arrived super excited and telling me it was such a good find. So I would have to give this product, the packaging, and the seller/manufacturer and the overall experience an easy 5-Stars. I highly recommend the product.

Anyway, we do like your design, looks cute on our counter and we get a lot of complements, strange for a soap dispenser.My complaint is about the plunger action, it is not as smooth as I would like. There seems to be a sight grabbing when pushing down on the soap dispenser. Resulting in a larger glob than I would like. If smoother, like our old dispenser, one could push on it slightly and you would get a small amount, push more, a lager amount, and push harder and you would get a large glob.I may be picky, but this problem is probably why I would’t get another one for my other house or reorder one. Maybe I just got a bad one!

looking at the ad I thought it would be blue but it came in clear. Just a heads up. However, it looks very nice in my kitchen and I love having hand soap handy so yes I would recommend.

Spout is very nice and looks like it will resist rust better than just plain mason lids. Wish they had it in brushed brass and a blue bottle. Not using the tag because it will get wet anyway so paying for more than I'm using.
