Better bass and mid-range prefomance
First I want to say when you order these there are 2 cables in a bag.I thought the price was for 1 cable and I purchased 2.I now have an extra set that I will use in the future so no harm but the description needs to state if you order 1 you get 2 cables. Now for the sound...I was using audioquest level 4's before I bought these.I experienced an enhanced bass response and better mid-range prefomance once the SKW speaker cables were in my system. The cables come with banana plugs attached and in a separate bag are 8 gold plated spade plugs. The banana and spade plugs are threaded and screw on to the ends of the cables. This in my opinion is a wonderful way to terminate cables. The ends feel like there built like tanks and should last forever. The cables themselves are thick and heavy and seem well sheilded.Everything about these cables screams quality and if your in need of speaker cables that will deliver and last give the SKW's a buy.Well worth the investment.

Incredible build quality, great look, and overall great value
I was a little concerned reading some reviews -- these cables may have been listed as selling separately in the past -- as in, one speaker cable per item. As it is now, you get a pair of cables, which was a welcome sight when they arrived. Worry not, this is for a PAIR of speaker cables. As for the cables themselves -- they're packaged in a very attractive gift box, and as all high line SKW cables, each metal connector barrel as well as the metal splitters are all covered in an easily removed soft plastic jacket to keep them from getting scratched. The cables are *massive*, indeed overbuilt, and judging from the actual conductor size (12AWG?), a lot of this girth is insulation (story of my life). Still -- I love the gorgeous machined connectors, the non-snag nylon braiding, and the high quality of the actual cable contained within.I don't subscribe to the audiophile voodoo that cables need to be broken in, and I don't purport to be able to hear the difference between copper crystals grown on utopian communes at organic copper foundries on black sand Fijian beaches, and ones put together in the basement of some guy named Eugene in Poughkeepsie. That said, good cables sound better, and bad cables can sound, well, bad... and these sound fantastic. Currently running them through custom adaptors into a rebuilt Kenwood KA-8100, and then to early 80's Klipsch Heresy's -- the sound has a sense of force and authority that is every bit the Heresy's being assertive and horn-y, but also an indicator of capable high-current conductors.I did end up elevating the cables (what did I say about voodoo?) with some antique ceramic electrical utility pole insulators, partly to just keep the beautiful cables up off the floor, and also because... can't hurt?In the grand scheme of speaker cables, these are a deal, and in the grand scheme of speaker cables, these are wonderfully functional. I know there's hundreds of offerings out there going for large portions of my yearly salary, and if you can afford to spend that much on a piece of wire, well, I have a bridge you may be interested in buying. SKW does a great job with cables, fit and finish, and SQ, and I've been happy with every single purchase I've made from them, including these beauties.

Sound as good as they look
I just finished a marathon upgrade to my HiFi system, and decided it wouldn't be complete without all the cabling being replaced with something that both improved the sound and appearance of my expensive gear. Speaker cables were the last thing on my list after having replaced all the interconnects and power cords. I found this set on Amazon and really liked the way they looked. I'm an audiophile, not an audiophool, so I know better than to think $1000 speaker cables will make my system sound $1000 better. These are great sounding cables, and they really add a touch of class. One little hint for using the spade lug adapters. These cables are very stiff, and if you use the spades, you may find that they don't line up properly with the terminals that you are trying to connect them to. Not to worry; you should be buying a pair of cables and each one comes with 4 screw on spade adapters, so you will have 8 in all. Take them one at a time and screw them on to the end you want to use them on until you find a pair that lines up properly. That way you won't be connecting them under strain. Oh, and take note that these cables have directional arrows on the splitter barrels. The arrows should be pointing away from the back of the amplifier outputs and towards the speaker connections.1/26/21Still liking these cables immensely. I have tried several other brands of cable, some of which cost quite a bit more, and I just keep switching back because the bass drops and the sound stage narrows with the other brands, . These cables are a real bargain, and one of the best kept secrets in the land of audiophilia.

SKW Cables Are Top Shelf
Forget about how much money they cost, these bad boy cables meet and exceed all requirements, you won't be disappointed if you purchase these cables. I've never seen anything like this before, and OMG do they make my system sound amazing.

Speaker Jewelry
Some very attractive speaker jewelry! That being said the dynamic range seemed larger when I switched to these cables, granted what I was using before was basic budget level stuff.. A nice option for those that dont have means or motivation to spend upwards of $300 on a pair of cables

Really lovely stuff at an amazing price
Amazingly high-quality look, feel and presentation for the money. I don’t really believe in cables as a sonic enhancement, but instead consider them to be “audio jewelry”. These definitely fit the bill, and I’m sure they conduct electrons as far and as fast as needed. I love the interchangeable tips (I needed bananas on one end and spades on the other). Brilliant!Excuse the messy photos — I’m just moving into my place. Using these cables with KEF R3 speakers and Naim Uniti Star. The cables are easily up to the level of this gear, IMO.

yes hear the difference!
which Troll says cables don't matter!!!? Hate to say yes they do! My speakers sound so much better,, i feel my Paradigm Prestige 95 are much more fuller and more bass, yes i used thick monoprice before and blue jean, but these are really nice , just wish they had more 9 ft lengths as i need one more for my center! Using blue jean now, there good but i will spend the extra for my front channel! Also using better xlr cables make difference too, as i'm using Skw as well, plus wbc and mogami. Makes huge difference, so don't let the trolls who can't afford more expensive cables tell you other wise, these are not thousands! If you have a high en system yes, if you have a BB systems won't make difference, or if your using those klisph plastic horn types! For higher end speakers you will hear the difference!!!👍🏿👍🏿😁

For the price in my system, well worth the investment.
I've long been a skeptic about cables making an audible difference. I picked up these speaker cables based on price and quality construction with no expection my system would sound better.Well, it does. It makes no sense to me, but it does. The improvements are subtle - it sounds a little cleaner overall, but most noticably in the upper mids and top end. Micro detail is better defined. The system sounds just a bit more open and airy, a bit more resolving. For me and my system, it was a noticable improvement over the generic diy cables I have used for many years. Results will vary from system to system I'm sure. I've built my rig trying to maintain a balance between resolution and warmth. These cables added resolution without making the system sound cold or clinical.
